Excellent microphone...clear as a bell with no distortion or feedback
Comparing careful recordings using studio-quality headphones, I could just barely perceive a difference in sound qualities compared to good microphones costing 1/3rd the price.
I have not heard a better sounding handheld, dynamic microphone.
It could be a great microphone where feedback is not a concern, or very likely, such as for recording or when the mic and monitors are in fixed locations and all precaution has been taken to avoid feedback
This and the effects of the Supercardioid helped take away the feedback problem, even with the lower gain setting the mic still had plenty of volume plus the e945 is a great sounding mic
it works particularly well if you have a softer voice and the sound is warmer than the AKG D5 I've been using.
The 935 and 945 seem to have a cleaner sound, and less mid range.
Very accurate sound -- comparable to our condensor mike, but usable on stage for live performances
This Sennheiser e945 is good quality as Nikkodo microphone made in japan
With a quality mic like this, you would think Sennheiser wouldn't include some aftermarket clip.
One of the best mics for live performance, also using the beta 58a, love both of them!Quality is flawless, design and usability over the top.
I HAVE OTHER SENNHEISER AND ONLY USE THEM FOR RECORDING AND STAGE USE.I HIGHLY RECOMMEND HIGH STURDY HEAVY QUALITY
So let's say you've got your heart set on that $2500 Taylor guitar, or that $500 boutique stomp box, but yet you expect to get great vocal quality from a $100 made in China
Although the e945 has significantly more gain than a SM58, it still tended to be more likely to produce feedback from the side even when the additional gain was compensated for in comparison
Comparing it to other dynamic vocal mics, I appreciate the e945 as quite possibly the best of them.

n’t need stage monitors with the new Bose L1 system” but I was fighting feedback problems
it seams I was not the only one with the feedback problem…
This and the effects of the Supercardioid helped take away the feedback problem, even with the lower gain setting the mic still had plenty of volume plus the e945 is a great sounding mic
I used it with wedge monitors and have hardly any feedback problems
