Sennheiser GAME ONE Gaming Headset - Black

    • Pros:-Great mic-As comfortable as it gets-Aesthetically pleasing-Great sound quality-Open ear (you can hold a conversation with someone in the same roomCons:-Hardly any bass (which you would expect in an open-eared headset)-NOTHING ELSE
    • Great sound and the mic is crystal clear.
    • Mic is great.
    • The mic works very well and love how it mutes when lifted up
    • This was compared, however to a crappy mic without a boom on an older wireless headset
    • The mic works very well and love how it mutes when lifted up
    • But if an on-ear volume dial (very convenient), and a mic that mutes while in the upper position is worth an extra $80-$90...
    • which I do a lot of, but they were also great for music!!), the sound isolation isn't too much or too little, and the mic is pretty
    • Good sound and clear mic
    • these things sound really good, amazing for a gaming headset and the mic is clear also AND the mic looks sleek and nice
    • One pain was my mic was NOT working with Discord at first
    • They surprisingly have a decent mic as well and has good noise cancellation in the mic, however any decent studio or condenser mic will greatly beat it
    • They sound great, the mic is great, the build quality is great
    • Unfortunately, the mic has completely failed now
    • The Sennheiser brand is the biggest breath of fresh air combining both studio quality sound with impressive crystal clear mic output AND its immensely comfortable/breathable yet sturdy
    • Bends like Beckham, great gaming sound with open air which makes positional sounds seem more accurate, solid noise canceling mic, and drivers in the headset that don't add extra sounds and lets the game be heard as it was intended
    • Plus the mic it comes with is excellent just as good as the upgraded mic of the elite pros
    • I owned lasted 3 years before they stopped working all together, they had decent sound but not nearly as good as these, and the mic was slightly worse but those were probably my 2nd best
    • model)the mic is so great
    • But GAME ONE's mic detects too much background noise
    • However, to get voice comms I'd have to wrap the original Xbox One headset around my neck with the boom mic pointed up
    • I LOVE that the mic mutes when I lift the mic and I love that the volume control is on the ear piece instead of the cord (which is part of why it doesn't tangle)
    • , very sturdy-Sound is excellent-Audio for recipients is very clear and void of echoes (they do not hear you as "far away")-Open ear, can hear people ask you a question while you have them on, airflow keeps your ears cooler-Mic boom is just awesome
    • Quality-Great Sound positioning-Good Bass-Good Highs-Good Lows-Clear Mic QualityCons
    • They are light, sound great, mic is clear and easy to use... really the whole deal.
    • Good mic and good sound quality
    • These sound great, great mic, can wear for over 6 hours and dont hurt ears and i wear glasses.. seriously awesome!
    • Mic seems quite good
    • Those were and still are a great pair of headphones(the mic is broken but the headphones still work great 7 years later)
    • Bought them so I could listen to music and play games with my friends using it's Mic instead of my crappy internal Mic and they have performed flawlessly
    • The mic isn't sensitive enough
    • Bottom line... good audio, great mic, very comfortable and good looking, and a little overpriced.
    • The mic is perfect for my uses (online/coop gaming and Youtube gaming videos). Thus far I have no cons, not even the price
    • I guess the mic is pretty amazing
    • The mic is great too, the push up to mute is great to keep unwanted conversations going on air lol.
    • They offer the best balance of sound quality, durability, mic quality, comfort, reliabilty, and convenience
    • The mic is really clear and really easy to mute (all you have to do it fold it up and it auto mutes, which is really nice
    • Clear Mic.
    • I like that it provides good sound and mic quality
    • I'm on my second pair in a month because I plopped mine down and broke the mic
    • The mic sounds very nice and it is extremely convenient to mute it by raising the mic up.
    • You can probably get a better set of cans from another pair of Sennheiser phones with a standalone mic, but if you are looking for an all-in-one headset with great audio and a stellar mic, than this is by far the best pair I've ever used
    • The mic is of good quality, but it sometimes wobbles & clicks if you move your head instead of staying locked in place
    • The mic is clear when I voice call, or team speak with it in games.
    • I need for a bit as they are my favorite headphones plus a mic
    • Like the mic up to mute feature.
    • Nice, clear sound and great mic
    • While mediocre, it drives this headset (50 ohms) without a problem, and the mic is plenty loud enough that I haven't heard a single complaint
    • The mic is amazing for a headset mounted mic, It is actually higher quality than many desk mics I have heard
    • The mic is clear and my call partners often have to ask if I'm still there since they cannot hear my obnoxious background noise as they could in the past
    • Overall I would recommend this headphones to anyone who is interested in solid sound and mic quality.
    • mic seems to work fine, as well
    • mic seems to work fine, as well
    • Yes, I've owned and used the Hyper X Cloud II(Highly Recommended for Price) and the Hyper X Revolver(NOT recommended for price). Here's what the Sennheiser DOES NOT give you that the Hyper-X Cloud II can:Ease of use/setup - USB ConnectivyFunction - Physical onboard mute button (not lifting the boom mic)Effects - 7.1 surround sound emulation, on neckalce button to enable/disable.
    • Comfortable, secure, GREAT mic quality and wonderful sound quality
    • People I talk to online say that the mic is very loud and "bad"
    • I've seen cheaper headphones with better mic quality and lighter parts
    • Excellent headset, really really great sound, good mic quality
    • With a very brilliant boom mic, that mutes conversation once lifted
    • All that said, the mic is great on these and they are comfortable to wear but after five months of use my right hinge just popped out of it's socket as I took the headphones off
    • The felt also tends to make a weird noise if rubbed with certain kinds of coated metal, which the mic also picks up (i.e. adjusting your glasses while wearing these will cause the mic to pick up said noise).A completely different problem I dealt with, resulting in RMAs, was with the felt itself: particularly along the inside of the ear cups.
    • But, it's a great sounding mic compared to most headset mics
    • The mic is great!
    • They have excellent sound and mic.
    • The mic DOES NOT work on a Macbook Pro
    • , mic sounds really good
    • Sound / Mic are great and the most comfortable headset I've ever had
    • all the mic is amazing as well you won't be disappointed.
    • Great headset very comfortable clear sound and good mic .
    • The steelseries Serbias have a terrible mic, overwhelming bass and very mediocre sound and are super uncomfortable
    • It seems like Sennheiser initially made a high quality sounding headset and said, 'hey let's make a gaming headset without sacrificing overall quality sound across all other media' best way they did this (or at least my theory) is to make a excellent mic that stands out for communication purposes
    • I enjoyed this headset for 5 months and today, the mic randomly stopped working in the middle of a game
    • Good mic quality
    • Before that, I had turtle beach (bad mistake), they were slightly uncomfortable and had not that great of sound, mic was very mediocre and they broke right after warranty
    • I use the headset with an audio to usb adapter, and when using voice chat or recording, the mic is amazing
    • Mic isn't as amazing as I'd heard.
    • They are comfortable though, and the mic is solid for the price.
    • All they do is take a pair of average (at best) drivers (speakers), slap some RGB LED's, a cheap mic, and a nice logo that might match your mobo or your keyboard
    • Mic was great, but the bass on these is terrible
    • I can guarantee best mic on a gaming headset100
    • Bottom line... good audio, great mic, very comfortable and good looking, and a little overpriced.
    • The volume knob works well and the mic feels sturdy
    • , the sound is tight (Steelseries audio lacks here), the Mic is the best integrated mic I've used (Astro A40 had not the best mic), and the audio is very crisp
    • Those were and still are a great pair of headphones(the mic is broken but the headphones still work great 7 years later)
    • The mic was great and they felt comfortable, but the sound suffered A LOT, and it's not because they're open-back
    • Mic sounds great for recording.
    • Based on my experience, expect the mic to die after about a year of regular use - no abuse
    • mic is decent but the sound is definitely the focus here.
    • Perfect mic quality, superb audio, and the cable switching is perfect for various devices.
    • Also love that they come with a 1 connection stereo cable and the split mic headphone
    • The Mic is the best I've used on a headset.
    • I like the mute action of lifting mic
    • PROS:-Good-looking-Excellent audio performance-Solid noise-cancelling mic-Well-builtCONS:-Expensive-Lacks included connectors for
    • Excellent audio quality, seem to be well made, and the mic is crystal clear as well.
    • The mic works fine and Ive had people tell me over voips that it sounds much clearer then my previous headset which was a logitech wireless version g930
    • Mic broke first after minimal use around 2 year mark, and in the following 4 months the right ear had stopped working and then both cut out entirely
    • Very comfortable, great mic, amazing sound, and convenient unpluggable cord for switching from Xbox to PC or traveling.
    • but they are absolutely good enough and they have superior connection reliability and mic
    • I bought this to replace my trusty old Hyper-X Cloud (the original, first version) when the wires connecting the mic seem to have severed at the headphone side (though they still sound fine, mic is dead)
    • The other main issue is that the mic is very quiet coming out of the box
    • You will be hard pressed to find a headset at this price with a better mic
    • Mic is clear
    • the mic is WAY too sensitive to surrounding sounds.
    • The mic is great and solid, when you want to mute, just lift it out of the way
    • Nor will I have to worry about the material cracking and peeling off like it did on my Logitechs.- Great mic
    • natural, clear sounding, open-acoustic headset with a fantastic mic and a nice aesthetically pleasing design
    • The mic is perfectly clear and as good as any mic besides a standalone USB.
    • The mic is also crystal clear, my friends over discord commented on how great it sounded before I could even say anything about a new headset.
    • The open acoustic design of this headset (versus the closed headset of the G4ME ZERO) also allows you to hear yourself clearly when using the mic, as well
    • I became aware of the "creaking" was when co-workers of mine on Skype, and teammates of mine on TeamSpeak and Discord, began complaining that my mic was making a noise they couldn't easily describe.
    • I find most headsets uncomfortable but Sennheiser knows how to make their s***. Cooshy earpads, good mic quality, good sound quality and not heavy enough that it wears down your head (Like the ASTRO A40s)
    • Seriously great audio, excellent mic, and super comfortable
    • The mic w/ noise cancellation is great and much appreciated since I have such a loud family and noisy dogs
    • The sound quality is unbeatable for a gaming headset and the noise canceling mic is fantastic
    • The sound is great, the mic is great, they are comfortable, the plush ear covers are far more comfortable than fake/leather ones (and they never peel, like the fake/leather ones do).Problem is, after nearly 2 years of use I can hear a rattle
    • What you get is two cords, one a shorter 3.5mm jack plug that turns the headset into a headset for your phone or a computer that doesn't have split audio/mic (some laptops) and a very long split audio/mic 3.5mm jack set
    • clear and distinct audio and an amazingly clear mic that does a great job of keeping the background noise out.
    • The mic is great in most
    • The mic though was perfect, people really liked the way it sounded
    • I actually opted for this set because I heard such good things about the microphone - that commentators use them for tournaments - but it is nowhere near as good as a professional mic like the Yeti and up.
    • fun!I would only buy these again if they were less than $70 because to be honest they are like $30 headphone drivers with a decent mic and some ok QA end user design but vastly over inflated with a sennheiser brand stamp
    • The mic is clear and the sound is very clear and full
    • Mic vs.**These have the best mic
    • I have been through many many high end headsets from from the brand new Astro a50s to the turtle beach elites which are both $350 headsets and both have good sound quality but the a50's mic is HORRIBLE and the turtle beach elite pros mic sounded good but was like an extras $50 which ended up costing a total of $400 for it
    • Then I can hear audio fine but the mic is very in consistent if it works at all
    • When you need to mute, it's as easy as pushing up the mic, you hear and feel a slight click to let you know when it's muted and unmuted
    • The mic is fantastic
    • Sound quality is perfect and the mic is great, everybody I talk to can hear me clearly.
    • Mic is incredibly clear and no static feedback at all, good noise cancellation
    • Mic is great
    • Then the mic mysteriously began working again so I was careful not to move it.
    • Mic could be a problem
    • So comfy, great sound, mic is clear (supposedly)
    • The mic is great
    • While the sound quality is very good and the mic is not to bad either, i was disappointed with the build quality
    • The mic is great, and sounds just a little bit worse than my $200 standalone
    • decent mic, decent headphones comfortable nice sound quality
    • comfortable on my head/big ears for long sessions, great sound, great mic, would recommend
    • Sound is amazing and mic is bar none the best for a headset setup..
    • So, as the "creaking" problem worsened, eventually the mic began picking up the "creaking" through vibrations in the housing.
    • The mic is fantastic, it cuts out a lot of ambient noise, the oversized ear cups are super
    • Sound quality on flat EQ sounds great and the mic is sensitive but clear
    • I use it in combination with Sennheiser's 7.1 surround sound emulator, but once it's set up you likely wouldn't need to.-Easy mute with the mic up, that actually works.-Super lightweight, I frankly can have it on for an entire day and not care.-incredible mic.
    • The mic is excellent, I'm assuming that is what you are really paying for
    • The mic is also crystal clear and doesn't pick up noises from other rooms
    • Comfortable for hours on end, open headphone design is fantastic, mic is good, cord is nicely braided and long
    • If you want a headset that is drama free and a mic that sounds great, this is the headset for you.
    • The mic sounds phenomenal and is crisp and clear
    • After two months of use, the mic doesn't even work and don't even get me started on the audio
    • A pretty solid headphone for use with a PS4 controller are the Bose Soundsport headphones, especially the ones with the Android compatible mic (the iOS mic is not compatible with the PS4 controller btw)
    • And the mic is just unreal
    • Bends like Beckham, great gaming sound with open air which makes positional sounds seem more accurate, solid noise canceling mic, and drivers in the headset that don't add extra sounds and lets the game be heard as it was intended
    • Excellent sound both mic, and ears.
    • If you lift the mic up to mute it and then push it down again to unmute, it will take a few seconds for the mic to work well again.
    • Light - excellent mic - detachable cable - 0 white noise/crackling w/ max
    • The mic works great and most importantly the sound is awesome.
    • Lightweight, comfortable, amazing mic and superior sound.
    • The sound is good and the mic is good
    • The mic is not good for recording voice though, I'd use something more professional.
    • Terrible mic
    • In the box is a standard split headphone/mic cord that's quite long, and a much shorter cord that is a combo headphone/mic cord for smart phones or similar devices
    • It has sturdy build quality, a good mic, a great sound, a good cable and they are comfortable to wear for extended durations.
    • I have been through many many high end headsets from from the brand new Astro a50s to the turtle beach elites which are both $350 headsets and both have good sound quality but the a50's mic is HORRIBLE and the turtle beach elite pros mic sounded good but was like an extras $50 which ended up costing a total of $400 for it
    • Wonderful sound, excellent mic, plenty of cord, and comfortable to wear
    • After reading many website reviews on gaming headsets with a mic as well as the reviews here on Amazon for the most popular models, I am incredibly happy I chose the Game One headset
    • The mic, however was trouble from day one.
