Sennheiser GAME ZERO Special Edition Gaming Headset
Color:Game Zero Special Edition
The Sennheiser GAME ZERO Special Edition is a professional, closed- back gaming headset. It's the no compromise gaming headset when you need outside noise blocked out. Experience nothing but pure, clear gaming sound....
I have worn these geadphones for a wgile now and really enjoy the sound and comfort of them while gaming.
The comfort and the mic were great but the audio was just garbage horrible headset for gaming and music absolutely horrid other reviews will say otherwise don’t believe them this headset is garbage
Comfort is outstanding, and the mic quality is just amazing my friends tell me I sound so much better than I did before
The mic is fantastic and the comfort of the ear cups are equally fantastic
They are amazing sound quality and comfort with an awesome mic
If Sennheiser could get that sound quality in a proper surround headset, they would have a serious contender for best gaming headset, but currently with it being
I have spent the past 15-20 years purchasing cheap gaming headphones in the range to $20-50 on a yearly basis
Ultimately it was the listening fatigue from the excessive highs, and the extremely annoying (I rage out just thinking about it
I have no doubt that this is the best gaming headset you can buy for $200.
The Sennheiser G4ME ZERO is probably the best PC gaming headset ive ever used, its a bit pricey
Ultimately it was the listening fatigue from the excessive highs, and the extremely annoying (I rage out just thinking about it
The microphone after about 3 years did however get a frequently occuring noise when active that sounded like a jet engine blasting in it for those unfortunate enough to be
The clear easily mutable noise cancelling microphone rounds out a fabulous design and one of the best gaming headsets on the market today
They are very comfortable and the microphone is very nice.
Has that same great quality sound, with an awesome microphone attached which works a lot better than having a separate microphone in front of you
The closed design does bring some sweaty ears but that is just part of the deal, nothing out of normal.
the mic mutes when its lifted up and you can adjust volume with the slider on the right ear cup
It's missing the 3-button control, but it does have a volume dial on the right ear cup and also the flip up mic mute
Fortunately I'm past my days when I want to blow my ears out.
Finally after getting tired of using my cheap headphones that hurt my ears every time I used them, I decided I would buy a really nice pair that I can afford (I spent about $200).When they arrived I was upset with the first pair because it was defective and did not work
Opening the box I was left wondering, is this all, no copy of a certificate of authenticity, or a user manual, or anything inside the hard case
Regardless, they are really flexible and come with a nice case
Material is very nice and also comes in a handy carrying case hard case
(With 35mm drivers, the bass on the Game Zero is not as loud as with my Beyerdynamic DT990s which have 45mm drivers.
The hard case is nice but too small for the headphones so they are under a lot of pressure when zipped up inside, I can see these being broken inside of a year with how much I travel
Ultimately it was the listening fatigue from the excessive highs, and the extremely annoying (I rage out just thinking about it
These are worth the extra cash you have to save up to buy them, they are comfortable, sound is excellent, mic is top notch, the design, well, it's an acquired taste.
It's the only one slim enough to fit into the front USB ports due to the PS4's weird wedge design
It's plastic, clunky design makes it feel as if you were purchasing a fifty dollar pair of headphones, very few metal pieces hold the headset together
Very sturdy design (no creaking or squeaking when moving it around and adjusting it)Very good noise canceling (even without audio playing)Sturdy and high quality
One thing to keep in mind before buying this headset is that they have 150 ohm impedance, so you should check if your on board sound has the power to push through that

People will say the problem is that they don't get enough power, as the standard model had a 150 ohm impedance so you needed a good amp and good audio to make them run correctly
Sound quality is good, not as great as I imagined, but not bad

The mic does pick up some background noise but no bad, and the quality of these are great as well, good for hours of gaming and for the most part they are breathable
The base definition seems just as good as with the DT990s.)

They don't sound as full till you hear background noise.
On the plus side, there's no sign of loose screws, something mentioned in a few other reviews.
After them being pulled hard to the floor a bunch of times by the cable getting caught on the arm of my chair and me not noticing and walking through it, the screws in these 2 plates above the ear cups can come loose sometimes and I lost one
I had to go to the hardware store and buy better screws and replace them.
As mentioned in other reviews the screws fell out after 4 months
I was missing a screw and a metal clip piece (held on by the screws) that keeps the cup connected to the hinge
