  • Very efficient (takes little power to make sound goo)Very comfortablePerfect well-balanced sound for adult musicReplaceable cableReplaceable ear padsLarge enough for any earsSennheiser name is trustedComes with additional 1/4 jack cableClosed design keeps sound in and outSleek design doesn't make you look stupid in publicPackaging nice for gift givingComes in your favorite color as long as it's blackHighly recommended
  • The oval, ear-shaped ear hole is an improvement on round Akai hole, the pads find a good balance between firm and soft, and the fit is tight but comfortable.
  • The 569s have a great well balanced sound, they are comfortable and are a good value
  • I most appreciated the eq of these headphones when listening to reggae (Dennis Brown!), it's the perfect balance

Reviews around music (5.00 of 5)

  • The music all sounded great--you can hear the wide spectrum of sound, and the volume has a very wide range
  • and I I can still enjoy my music

Reviews around cord (5.00 of 5)

  • A longer cord would be nice, especially the 1/4" cord
  • The Akais also had two detachable cords, but in its case they were both 1/8", one coiled and one not, and came with a 1/4" adapter... as "Professional Project" headphones, I thought it didn't make any sense that they wouldn't have a dedicated 1/4" jack, as what studio gear features 1/8" female jacks?

Reviews around good (5.00 of 5)

  • I needed a headset for use on planes as well as a headset for skype that worked with my over the ears hearing aids.
  • These may be closed, but they do not isolate that well

Reviews around cable (5.00 of 5)

  • The 569 also had a replaceable cable, while the 280's did not
  • The cable is detachable off the headphones themselves (comes with 2 cables: a a detachable 3 m cable and a detachable 1.2 m cable with the adjustable buttons)

Reviews around amp (5.00 of 5)

  • The Topping NX1a portable amp is more than powerful enough to drive these headphones and it really wakes them up
  • I also use a completely transparent DAC/Amp.

Reviews around foam (5.00 of 5)

  • However, the ear pads seem like they don't have quite enough foam in them.

Reviews around detail (3.61 of 5)

  • Sound quality is good, with sufficient bass and treble that isn't overwhelming, but provides good detail.
  • These cans also have good detail
  • Not enough detail
  • It gives me the sound signature I like, but also does not let much sound leak out t bother those around me.

Reviews around bass (3.61 of 5)

  • Sound quality is good, with sufficient bass and treble that isn't overwhelming, but provides good detail.
  • The bass is good but not over the top, the mids are excellent, and the treble has a nice presence without being tinny or screeching
  • Clear, crisp highs, and solid bass
  • If you're running these headphones off a mobile device or laptop they're going to sound tiny with lacking bass response

Reviews around signature (3.22 of 5)

  • If you like the sound signature for and of the 500 series headphones, you'll like these
  • They are comfortable and not fatiguing and they have a very accurate sound signature
  • It gives me the sound signature I like, but also does not let much sound leak out t bother those around me.

Reviews around isolation (3.22 of 5)

  • I mean it doesn't bother the people around me, but if you want better isolation I'd take a look at the HD280.All in all, it is a good, comfortable headphone, but I suggest you try it first to make you like the Sennheiser sound signature
  • The isolation is not ideal, if I have the volume at a moderate level the person next to me would hear whatever I'm listening to
  • It gives me the sound signature I like, but also does not let much sound leak out t bother those around me.
