  • The AHRS works like it should.
  • AHRS worked fine and only used about 10% of the battery
  • I like having a backup AHRS and ADSB for long flights and used a Stratus2 until it's connectors finally gave out earlier this year.

Reviews around device (5.00 of 5)

  • The black RAM mount stuck on REALLY well and kept the device secure but my problems soon started once getting airborne
  • Although I wanted to love this device, the hits just kept coming and, in the end, I ended up returning the Sentry

  • Since I useForeflight this is a perfect ADS-B in solution for use in both my airplanes!
  • Great GPS reception, and ADS-B Locke’s up as soon as I was airborne (airport was in a valley, and depending on your area you usually need to be at least 500-1000’ up before you get a good signal since it’s line of sight and ground based)

Reviews around job (5.00 of 5)

  • Built several Stratux's and as great a job the open source team team has done with the software, the HW does require fiddling as well as lots of power for the Raspi+SDR's.
  • Yea my panel mount with external antenna gets better reception but this seems to go a good job.

Reviews around piece (5.00 of 5)

  • This is a superb piece of additional safety gear for my VFR aerobatic plane, which doesn’t have a shred of IFR gear
  • Wonderful little piece of equipment; something better will probably come along, but at present is as good as any on the market

Reviews around battery (5.00 of 5)

  • Super, small, lightweight, long lasting battery life with all the features of Stratus plus CO monitoring.
  • Pros: Small, lightweight, nice packaging, good battery lifeCons: Poor GPS, unreliable ADSB, CO Detector does not work!I’ve been waiting forever for a lower cost ADSB receiver and finally pulled the trigger when the Sentry was released.

  • The Sentry works perfect with my Foreflight, grabs other aircraft info almost immediately for display on the IPad and GPS is balls dead on
