It's a great coffee grinder - stainless steel cup and very smooth and quiet when running.

Like my old grinder, you push down on the plastic cover to run it, but unlike my old grinder, no part of the plastic cover extends into the stainless steel bowl

What I love the most is the stainless steel cups, they don’t trap smell from the ingredients so a simple rinse will get rid of smells of spices/ food.
