I was thinking I won't need it as I've been sharpening my own blades for years, but then my friend wanted to try and started doing it all wrong, and I thought, well good thing they sent this cool angle guide.

Comes with a nifty angle guide to get you used to the angle you need to sharpen your blades at.

I'm 59 years old and been sharpening knives all my life

The only way to get better and more comfortable sharpening knives is to just do it -- practice and patience.

After a few months of using a handheld kitchen knife sharpener, I was noticing that my knives we just not holding the edge that I would expect blades of their quality to, and even making them more dull at worst
