Everything worked great for three months, then all of a sudden I lost my pictures and videos

Lost all vacation pictures on one card in June of this year

So, I lost some pictures

Lost vacation pictures on the other phone in September of same year

With only light usage, this seems to have failed (I/O errors in read using `dd`) after only two months.
