Works perfectly as extended storage for my PS4, and it took just a quick google search and a few controller button presses to get it set.
The HDD itself is pretty responsive (although I had some real hiccups upon first using it, but that might've been my fault), and the rugged design means I don't have to worry as much as with other hard drives
(The only reason I gave it 4 out of 5 stars was due to the imperfect USB cable storage and the military-grade claim.)
Love the storage for the usb cable so it stays connected to the drive other than keeping the cable connected to the electrical contacts.

This is a plus compared to other mainstream EHD out there, where you have to pry their brittle plastic enclosure and may cause scratches or damage of the casing
This is like comparing an iPhone that is wrapped in a hard plastic case and then calling it military grade armor
It works great and I like the fact that it uses the same standard USB 3.0 connector that's on the computer as well as on the hard drive instead of that funky one that they came out with.
Its not truely 5T hard drive its only 4.5 T but it does work for my XBox One
This is the nicest, sturdiest little external I've seen, I kicked the darn thing across the room (on accident, not intentionally) and it hit a cement wall, and it still plugs in, starts up, and works as fast as when I first got it

Do NOT buy, does not hold up and lost 6 years of photos and videos
