Larger coolers may not fit - wider ones may obstruct the 5.25" drive bay, and taller ones will not fit with the top panel closed
Clean front panel allows for using in HTPC setups very well without looking like a tank
The top panel has a small grille for heat to exhaust out of, and on the right side of the case you can see two of the three included 120mm fans
The drive cage/bay is one piece, that you pull out to add/remove drives; no more digging-in to add drives.- Clean front panel cover/door design, that can be
2 80mm fan mounts on the back above i/o panel, good for exhaust fans, but no standard liquid cooling solutions fit on an 80mm mounting point as of this review

The reason I am giving it two stars is because along with the idea of the locking door, I was greatly looking forward to the hot swap bays in the front.
I will say, though, that replacing drives is a pain compared to hot swap bays.
2 of the 3.5" drives go in the hot swap bays, 1 of the 3.5" drives goes on the underside of the optical drive bracket, and 1 of the 3.5" drives plus the 2.5" drive go on the hard drive bracket (which is attached to the hot swap bays).
For some reason I can't recall, I had to leave the front cover the hot swap bays.
This case has two hot swap-able bays that are very chinsy

The polished black look could be confused for a nice stereo and the minimalist front design (2 switches, 4 inputs, a light and the CD portion) is very smooth
Very nice looking computer case and has very easy and quick access
It's a really nice looking case especially for the price.
Putting a black plastic DVD in this case ruins the look of it
As long as you need a full ATX board you can't go wrong clean look and tons of room for my full size 660ti graphics card.

It does impose some size limitations on your CPU cooler and GPU cards, however
I have had to order a different CPU cooler fan to replace it.
So far, nothing has gone above 40 degrees Celsius under idle (CPU has actually yet to go above 36) and under strain, everything stays within a perfectly acceptable range of 70-80 degrees
Severely limits the cpu cooler you can choose and the video card
Beware of CPU cooler height limitation, per documentation

Putting it back in is the worst part; the design of the cage includes a plastic support, a wide rectangular shape that attaches to the bottom of the cage and rests on the floor of the case when in place.
Really nice case for my HTPC/file server except:As others have noted, the eject buttons for the optical drives are very poorly designed.
One thing I did not realize from the start is the case is designed to use 3x120mm fans all as intake, it is a positive pressure design.
I wouldn't recommend this for a server case, although it wasn't designed for that anyway,
I normally can build any PC within 2 to 4 hours but because of the poor design of this case it took me almost 4 days to build this HTPC.

Because they are are on the inside the fans become covered in dust, and to clean the dust filters you have to open the case and remove the fans AND remove the filter from each fan
Also, the fan it came with made a horribly loud noise, even after taking it out
As others have stated the fan filters require you to completely remove the fans to clean them
Functionality is wonderful minus the fan bays on the optical drive side of the case, it seems you have to remove a lot of the case parts to replace them and or clean the fans
I set the 3 fans and the CPU fan (Coolermaster Gemini S524) to silent mode and the fan noise difference is dramatic

3.0 & audo connectors have very nice cables, but the mount for the module that holds them is a very creaky flimsy PCB jutting awkwardly into the case. moving the usb 3.0 cable in particular puts a lot of strain on the connections.
I didn't spend enough time contemplating the complaints other reviewers had about poor cable management until I started trying to pack things in, and now I totally appreciate their complaints
Right angled cables are not your friend with this case.
has to stick to specific PSU which affected the build budget.- poor cable management
I don't even want to imagine how the nonexistent cable management would be with a non modular PSU or with a box filled with hard drives

Second problem, is the paint on the case is bad, after around two weeks from using it, there are white lines and spots on the case from small touch with screw
The paint is solid and deep, the finish excellent, and there's a more than good enough bag of extra screws.
This case will support a beast of a card but it will also sacrifice a lot of room for cables, as well as, at least, one of the 3.5 drive spaces
The HTCP case has a quality build feel to it but the one that was shipped to me was had excessive paint over spray and orange peel
I would rather the front of my case be clean black and not have your logo on the front that looks like it was just cheaply spray painted on

HEAT is the computers worst enemy - if you can keep them cool they will have a longer life
, 7 Noctua fans throughout the case and CPU heat sink (also from Silverstone, bought separately), and the case still just makes a slight bearable hum in my living room.
A special heat sink from prolimatech the Samuel 17 from another seller
rebuilt computer into this case with cooler master vortex heat sink cooler, corsair MX750 PSU with 5 120mm and 2 80mm case fans.
This case will support a beast of a card but it will also sacrifice a lot of room for cables, as well as, at least, one of the 3.5 drive spaces

The introduction of Grandia GD07 and GD08 cases from SilverStone ushers in a new era of home theater computing like never before
For the first time, the power and storage capacity of a server can now be neatly stowed beautifully and quietly in a home theater environment
Completely reengineered to fully utilize all available spaces, the Grandia GD07 can accommodate an incredible amount of drives (up to eleven) and high-end components (graphics cards up to 13.6 inches long) with minimal sacrifices
It is even possible to fit SSI EEB (12" x 13") extended ATX motherboards in the GD07 despite maintaining an exterior dimension similar to SilverStone's previous generation full-size HTPC cases. With a wealth of lessons learned from building the best performing tower cases in the last several years, SilverStone engineers upgraded GD07's cooling performance tremendously with up to four 120mm fan options
And to make sure owners can easily maintain their cases' cooling ability over time with the lowest noise possible, custom designed removable filters surround the case for positive pressure to work effectively and quietly.Built to hide the imperfection of I/O ports and the plethora of drives that may be installed in its four 5.25" drive bays, the GD07's lockable aluminum front door is beautifully finished with hairline brush pattern to match other home theater components
For those looking to build a powerful home media sever with security features, this is the perfect case.
