the Audio out jack on my TV ( a 2 year old Sharp/Hisense from Best Buy) worked fine with the 3.5 connector, just one cable from the TV's audio out to the transmitter's audio in.

For $125.00 +- it delivers a very poor sound quality and the so called bass switch doesn't help much as it still sounds like a cheep cheep radio... as far as hook up to sound sources and actual amplification it is quite adequate.

I will have to spend extra money to purchase a digital optical converter and two power adapters (one for digital optical converter, another for receiver), which means I need totally three adapters to support the whole set unit
