    • if you are not planning on using it for say 3 months it is highly suggested you drain the oil and fuel out of it.

    • Anyway, so I put gas in it (I elected to use high test with NO Ethanol), filled it with the provided engine oil (important step, do not forget), connected all hoses, purged the air, turned on the switch, pulled the choke out, squeezed the trigger (relieves pressure when starting making it MUCH easier), pulled twice and it fired.

    • I know others have had this problem - it's too bad for the extra money paid that Simpson didn't have the foresight to include one extra airfilter - just in case they didn't drain all the test oil out and it seeped into the airfilter chamber during improper shipping and handling
