It doesn't replace a drummer, of course, but it is cool enough to keep a good solid beat.
But, for a steady beat with a couple of frills thrown in, I would recommend the BeatBuddy Mini.

The only things I don't love are the fact that it is missing any usable 6/8 or 3/4 beats, and that the intros to most beats are way over the top (a simple stick click intro would be a nice option - I don't need a crazy tom/snare fill)
