SIRIUS Stiletto 2 Portable Satellite Radio with MP3 Player

    • I can plug in the old radio and get a perfect signal, and then plug in the Stiletto and get nothing.
    • For the time being, I hang the antenna headphones from my rear view mirror and get good signal in the car.
    • Also, you can record shows with it but only if you have a dock and only if you have a solid signal
    • It won't record WIFI transmissions, but I knew that from previous reviews...I get great signal outdoors without the included antenna headset, which is very uncomfortable, but I don't need it so whatever
    • I walked around and although uninterrupted, I walked under a tree and the signal was interrupted.
    • The option to use the wifi feature as opposed to satellite might get you a clearer signal, but you need a wireless router, and you lose some of the save features only allowed in satellite mode, (not to mention a few channels as well)So recap.terrible "portable" reception3 times the price of a regular sirus radio.reduced features while using wifi
    • It's frustrating when I am wasting time at work, trying to get a proper WIFI signal
    • Have had NO problem keeping a signal while walking outside or while connected
    • Oh, and with built-in WiFi, I don't ever have to worry about having a strong signal indoors
    • We plan to try an armband to see if we can get a better signal.
    • I found on one of the forums I scoured, that someone had used the car antenna, which got a better signal than the antenna that comes with the home docking kit.
    • I utilize the wifi feature when indoors, and get great signal and sound quality.
    • So I have had difficulties trying to get a good (or any) signal where my desk is at.
    • As soon as I entered the shelter, I lost signal.
    • Yes if you are under a cover like a gas station or heavy tree you will lose signal.....but think about it...if you block the signal wave to your antenna you will lose signal
    • It has the ability to pick up a satellite signal when you are on the go...and when it can't find a good signal it can utilize a Wi-Fi Spot to get you service
    • Don't expect a super strong signal unless you are in a clear area with no trees or structures that bock the signal.
    • well I havent lost signal
    • My only problem is using the crappy FM signal for my car stereo (damn you, FCC!
    • In cases of heavy cloud cover, signal will sometimes get spotty if I'm under a tree.
    • I have used it like this in both St. Louis and now in San Antonio and even get a pretty strong terrestrial signal as well.
    • is that you have to wear the headphones that come with it to get a great signal (not just any headphones will do) however, they are comfortable and sound good
    • Forget the home/outdoor receiver if you can't locate the receiving antenna outside - even using the signal repeater and placing the home/outdoor antenna in a window, I still can only get an intermittent satellite and/or terristeral signal.
    • You have to purchase a bypass for your vehicle if you want to be able to HEAR it since Sirius can't emit strong enough signals by law (customer service verified this)
    • Concrete or metal overhangs (like at a gas station) will usually kill the signal until I get clear, regardless of sky condition
    • greastest item i bought for my new motorcycle, hooked it up and started to listen to what ever i wanted to and lost signal twice while going under a bridge and near alot of buildings but overall great device, easy to save programs to listen too and also to put your own mp3's
    • With the Stiletto 2, you can't get a consistent signal standing still in an open field.
    • Outdoors with the antenna headphones in use, I get good strong signal any time I've got a clear view of the sky directly above.
    • It connects and buffers quickly, but drops connection (even while showing a strong signal) in moments.
    • The device itself is nice, but the included antenna/headphone unit is PAINFUL to wear and does not pull a steady signal - at least around where I live.
    • We get a great signal going 80mph.
    • If you can't get a good signal, just replay an old recording
    • Walked around the block and never lost signal
    • Using it in the car, the signal I get is stronger than the one I got using the Sportster.
    • In fact, I've even had a weak but usable signal inside where I never expected one
    • We use with our wireless internet in our home and the signal is usually perfect.
    • Also, I asked a different person if I could just get the wifi subscription activated (since they were unable to activate my satellite subscription for some unknown reason, even when I had a good signal) . .
    • Even though reception can be a bit spotty as one runs underneath tall trees, the signal was stable enough to make it viable, especially with the included antenna headphones
    • As to reception, I defy anyone who owns it to use the built-in antenna and get a good signal
    • I was hoping to use it in the gym also but nothing keeps the signal strong enough to hear live radio when working out indoors
    • I decided to go back to trying to get a good WIFI signal at my office.
    • I bought a stileto 2 to listen to Howard Stern (I'm a huge fan).
    • To start off, the WIFI capability has been expanded to support 802.11b/g and also will work with most wireless hotspots.
    • The Internet Radio still works as long as I do not get far from the Wi-Fi at the house.
    • Sirius XM cannot work with a customer service program as horrible as they have
