  • Amazing, must have for anyone that doesn't have AUX on there radio, works crazy good!!!!
  • heard a lot of complaints about these but works perfect for me
  • The unit does work, sometimes its very clear, other times not so clear.
  • Just installed the Stiletto in my car, but listen to the other reviewers and install the FM module-works great with it...and not so great without
  • I must say I was pleasantly surprised by how well this product works

Reviews around install (5.00 of 5)

  • Easy install and works great!Just make sure you have adapters if you have a late model GM.
  • I do recommend professional install if you are unsure on how to remove your radio head unit
  • Not 100% perfect as I do get dropped stations here and there, but 99% better than a tape player or over-the-air radio.
  • But totally worth it sound is just as good as if you had a built in AUX cord from the factory

Reviews around installation (4.49 of 5)

  • Because it requires access to the back of your radio the real issue is installation.
  • My installation was relatively easy (2003 Windstar) once I had the radio removal tool ($10).
  • Super easy installation - just popped off the dash fascia, popped out the radio, plugged the adapter in, ran the wires, reseated the radio and fascia - done in less than 15 minutes
  • Very easy installation, after searching the Internet for install tips
  • Installation isn't too tricky for home installation, but so many cars these days have manufacturer-specific antenna inputs and outputs that there's a good chance you'll need adapters

Reviews around crystal (4.49 of 5)

  • My satellite radio is crystal clear 100% of the time now
  • If you want a crystal clear satellite signal to your receiver this is what you need
  • I still have full FM and AM radio and when I power on the SIRIUS received it cuts out normal reception and when tuned to the same frequency as the SIRIUS receiver I get crystal clear reception now.
  • This is a 5 STAR item if you're a SIRIUS/XM fan and you want crystal clear audio in your car with a dock & play SIRIUS radio
  • Quick and easy set up in my 05' cavalier with crystal clear satellite radio now

Reviews around price (4.45 of 5)

  • Would have hoped that the price would be slightly cheaper on here.
  • It works great through the FM radio with the stock stereo and it was at a great price through Amazon
  • reception is great and I didn't have to buy an a different antenna....very pleased and the price was better than any place I found (truck stop, radio store, etc)

Reviews around station (4.37 of 5)

  • I was always trying to find the perfect station to get a clear signal.
  • Very happy with this product, no more playing with the radio to find a clear station
  • it works great, clear as a bell, actually sounds like a digital signal (not a bad fm station)
  • The RoadyXT had a very strong FM output that would generally overwhelm most broadcast stations.
  • what so ever, clear all the time, no need to hunt for radio stations! great product

Reviews around advertise (4.33 of 5)

  • Not 100% perfect as I do get dropped stations here and there, but 99% better than a tape player or over-the-air radio.
  • Tip - call customer service and complain long and hard enough that it was false advertising and eventually they will agree to sending you the hardwire kit for free and also credit your account $30 dollars for the approx cost of getting it installed.
  • But totally worth it sound is just as good as if you had a built in AUX cord from the factory

Reviews around item (4.30 of 5)

  • I highly recommend this item if you don't have an AUX input in your vehicle radio.
  • Not the items fault, but I'm writing this so someone doesn't make the same assumption
  • I purchased this item with the understanding that it would work for xm car docks, as well as sirius
  • Installer had no problem using this item.
  • The contrast between using the Fm-signal wire that comes with the Sportster5 versus this item is significant.

Reviews around sound (3.89 of 5)

  • Neither of these will give the clean look that I like, but the sound is more important to me than the look
  • Sound is now crystal clear without any static or interruptions.
  • Cables where available on Amazon for ok price and once all done no more static, nice clean sound!
  • The sound will not suffer when using in conjunction with the Sirius XM
  • With the control head connected to my car's Delco AM / FM / CD radio via this device, the sound is studio quality, noise free and a joy to listen to

Reviews around signal (3.88 of 5)

  • Our signal was so weak in the car we needed something else to make the xm listenable at all.
  • If you want a crystal clear satellite signal to your receiver this is what you need
  • My 2nd Sirius aftermarket radio apparently has a wimpy fm signal transmitter, since I very often lose the signal (not the Sirius signal; the FM station I'm trying to use for the Sirius signal).
  • Signal is crystal clear no matter which station I choose
  • I have always had trouble getting my Sirius to broadcast a good FM signal

Reviews around quality (3.77 of 5)

  • The sound quality is great and there is no interference
  • My original unit put out an FM signal that was just sufficient to play over the car radio; I found a station that usually worked, and just got used to fact that the sound wasn't great, and was somewhat static-y, and that I had to search for different stations when I went to a different area (even to other parts of town). My old unit died and the new one could barely be picked up on the radio, so I searched around and found this adapter
  • Way clearer, better sound quality, and you don't have to change
  • Great sound quality; wires tucked neatly inside the dash
  • The sound quality is now better than my standard FM stations and there is no hiss at all.

Reviews around radio (3.56 of 5)

  • The connection of this thing was SO SIMPLE!The result: Crystal clear XM radio
  • Finding an interference-free FM radio station is not an option.
  • Sadly, this radio died after about 6 years and I had to replace it with one of the newer, less powerful models.
  • While this worked ok, the sound quality and volume was not as good as my FM radio channels, and there was some hiss.
  • I used it in a 2011 Nissan Rogue (which has very poor radio reception compared to my other vehicles) and i’m certain it worsened the sound quality vs no antenna at all

Reviews around adapter (3.27 of 5)

  • Not 100% perfect as I do get dropped stations here and there, but 99% better than a tape player or over-the-air radio.
  • The FM adapter works as described and has met my expectations
  • this sirius "fm direct adapter" cable, which splits and extends the external fm receiver antenna built into your car to also function as an antenna receiver for your sirius satellite radio
  • Not 100% perfect as I do get dropped stations here and there, but 99% better than a tape player or over-the-air radio.
  • When I use the same radio with the old cassette adapter there is no distortion

Reviews around transmitter (2.28 of 5)

  • But totally worth it sound is just as good as if you had a built in AUX cord from the factory
  • Not 100% perfect as I do get dropped stations here and there, but 99% better than a tape player or over-the-air radio.
  • A much better option than those cheap, wireless FM transmitters.
  • My 2nd Sirius aftermarket radio apparently has a wimpy fm signal transmitter, since I very often lose the signal (not the Sirius signal; the FM station I'm trying to use for the Sirius signal).
  • Sound quality is far superior to any wireless solution - even your hacked non-compliant RF transmitter.

Reviews around bite (1.00 of 5)

  • Additionally, the volume is lower than with the tape deck connection, so I have to bump up the stereo volume a bit to compensate
  • I was a bit doubtful, and worried that it would involve more hassle than it would be worth, but for my car (a Honda Civic) it turned out to be quite easy
  • I could not get into my dash to hook this up and felt $100 was a bit excessive from the local big box store
