Does a really good job at removing scratches from music cd's and dvd's, but if the disks are badly scratched you must use it over and over again to get the job done

Definitely not worth the price.

One might find it cheaper to buy several of these repair system sets rather than buying the repair accessory kit as the repair system is cheaper priced at the moment

Didn't have a drying cloth in package, CD does not spin well in device and is not removing scratches as advertised

It worked as advertised, fixed two CD's that were not playable.

They also like to drop them, and scratch them as they put them back in the boxes.

A couple of really deep scratches are still messing up the playback, but it's nowhere near as bad as before

otherwise, spend a few more bucks and buy a proper recovery machine like Professional DVD/CD Disc Cleaner and Reconditioner or Aleratec 240131 DVD/CD Disc Repair.

So we tried the toothpaste idea, and some of the scratch-out solution - both taking too long

It is a relatively cheap solution that is the best I've found.

I tend to use a lot of the cleaning solution so end up making my own out of distilled water and 1% isopropol alcohol.

This SkipDr is a life saver when you have kids that don't understand how to treat a game or a movie on DVD.

I wouldn't recommend this for any 360 accidents as it didn't work on three separate incidents for myself

It only repaired one of my broken Xbox games, and something really annoying is that the handle to spin the disc kept breaking off numerous times

Disc won't even spin when cranking the handle, therfore, the brush just scratches the hell out of the disc even worse

It's a cheap piece of junk and it does NOT repair DVDs or games.

Its a piece a crap and its going to scracth your disc so they can be readed by your players, I hate it!
