I'm using it on dash to hold a radar detector mount and so far it is working great.

but for GPS and phones, heavy objected works great on dashboard sadly veritically it isn't the best performer

Only about 1/3 of the pad is touching the phone, and this thing is sticky enough to make it stay

These pads are great for keeping things in place, like, like remote controls, pens/pencils, car keys, etc.

These pads are perfect for letting things you need - like a cell phone - sit on the dash of the car without it falling off.

When they lose their stickiness just wash with soap and water

When it starts to loose the stickiness, I simply wash it with soap and water, let it air dry, and put it back into service.

They dust up quickly and lose their stickiness, but a quick rinse under water brought them back to new

As typical, they loose their stickiness but all you have to do is wash

I was stuck sticking over the top of a blank spot in the control panel just above heat/cooling controls.

It's cheap enough that we can easily buy replacements and it came with 2 to begin with, but I do wish they posted some type of warning about either direct sunlight or intense heat causing it to melt

Tried alcohol to clean the dash area as instructed..nope wouldn't adhere and my phone flew across the dashboard nearly smashing my window.

It took a while to clean up the black greasy mess, but eventually it all came up

I would NOT however leave them on the hot dashboard of your car - likely to melt into a sticky gooey mess

Melts and melts onto your dash which will leave a mess and stain that will not go away so, if you hate your car, you may want to purchase this product

The one that has the 2 pointed corners is fine the other one melted and was a sticky mess.

Work great phone stays put and no worries about phone falling and getting broke

We purchased two and just loved the way this jelly pad held the phones in place and without the phone falling.

so I can drive and talk on the phone and not worry about my phone falling to the floor or under a seat.

but I am confident they will work as they should

I didn't believe that I could stick it on the front of my dash and stick my phone to it without my phone falling.
