Someone must be with her so the system to call the paramedics with the monthly charge is unnecessary.
I recommend paying more for (if possible) a better system.
definitely a great product for families taking care of their loved ones.we have been using this basic system for 4 months now, batteries are still working, pager is still working, call buttons still working just fine

I would highly recommend this paging system to anyone who is a caretaker
You never know until you look!the item was a breeze to get my mother to use one by her bedside and one aroundher neck
This is a very useful item for anyone acting as a caregiver
Although I was accidentally sent wrong item first, it was a quick fix and sent call buttons
This item works great and serves our needs but it says it comes with 2 AA and 2 A23-12v batteries, We needed both pagers to be working asap and this came with the 2- AA but only 1- A23-112v meaning we could only use one pager until we could get to town which is not close and will cause us great inconvenience
This item has been so useful in caring for my elderly mother
It's also durable; I've dropped the base unit onto hard surfaces several times with no damage.
that receives the signals from those buttons, easy to understand instruction sheet, 2 nice quick-release lanyards, 2 pieces of double sided foam sticky tape to mount the holsters to hard surfaces and 2 screws that you could ostensibly use to mount the holster permanently to a hard surface
I can hear it anywhere in the house as well as on the deck
Maybe a rougher surface
It's been used and worked exactly as it was supposed to.
In addition, the pager is made of hard (read - possible too easy to crack) plastic, and the couple of times it's fallen from my belt, I've worried it would break
I can hear it anywhere in the house as well as on the deck
It works great - I like the door bell option for during the day and the alarm will wake the entire house at night.
It's been used and worked exactly as it was supposed to.
The call buttons must be taken apart to install the batteries - and it's almost impossible to pry the plastic apart.

This could be seen as a "con", I suppose, but I can hear it from anywhere in my house, and can count on the volume to wake me.*A convenient clip for attaching the receiver to the caregiver's belt or clothing
The box that alarms has a clip so you can wear it or just put it near you
The only thing that is a problem is the pager tends to fall out of pockets and the clip is not very strong
The pager has a clip that the user can place where needed, but I would not recommend it to be placed on the belt.
Transmission is between the button and receiver, does not rely on some outside cellular or wifi service, works exactly as we need it to, and is reliable and simple.
We bought this for my Handicapped father to call us when he needs something.
It's been used and worked exactly as it was supposed to.
My father and I live next door to each other and this wireless pager works just fine despite the distance between us
I can hear it anywhere in the house as well as on the deck
Both are pretty loud, the alarm is annoying enough to be effective.

Doesn't call EMS or Emergency but does have audible alarm in the house which is all we wanted for now.
The alarm is loud enough so that I could hear it from the second level of the house.
Alarm is good and loud and the chime was not as loud but adequate
there's also another option instead of the ding dong which sounds like a very loud police siren very annoying but the volume is very loud and the range is quite
It works great--there are 2 sounds--one is similar to a bell tone, the other is a siren--we use the siren sound selection on the receiver when outside mowing as it is louder.
The doorbell is okay and the siren sound causes anxiety, but this gets the job done and the range is impressive.
I use the loud siren setting, and indeed when it's activated you can hear it in Borneo
Then the "ding-dong" sound quit working and only the annoying & loud "Siren" sound was working.
