It will even overheat in the panels pocket as it is all black
Recently purchased this item to have as an additional 'power source' for a bug out box, as well as to have for traveling purposes
I took it with me on a trip to Yosemite National Park and it performed great, I was able to charge my portable bluetooth speaker and my cellphone while we were having a quick bite by the trail, I can't complain about this unit, please note that the charging will work as long as you have a nice open view of the sky, if its' cloudy it will charge but not as quick as when there are not clouds

This solar charger did a good job of charging my devices.
I will say this item does a good job and would recommend to other campers.
When it's cloudy it does a good job, not great but good...in the sunshineit is super fast & highly recommend it

Not sure about this product, used it once on my cell phone, but my phone got too hot to continue charging (although my phone did charge to about 62%).
I left it out in the sun for a few hours and got a decent charge on my phone
You definitely want to use direct sunlight for a good charge.
Note: some cell phones will stop charging if the current falls too low, which can happen if some clouds go by
As I've researched these panels, I've found that they tend to trickle charge anyway, so more watts in the panel isn't going to necessarily get you any faster charging time
