a "motion" option on the menue turn it off!the game already has like 3D built in and if the motion option on the tv is on its crazy hard to keep up with where everything is.the game had a great price and arrived way early.
you made a 14 year old so happy..great service, price and 100% satisfied with everything ..
What is to be expected of a Sonic game at a reasonable price wish there was more original content and not as many horrible levels.
Going for a perfect S-rank, better times, and/or finding red stars that open up art or music in an extensive gallery add to the replay value and instill some challenge.
My little brother loved this game as well as I enjoyed playing it

Actually my grandson loves Sonic and I have purchased all the Sonic games for him for either his birthday or Christmas (he is 9)
He says the graphics are "cool" and realistic in Sonic Generations.

The levels are INSANELY fast paced...and feel actually well, FUN
Perfectly in the classic parts in the game, perfectly emulates the feel of the genesis games while at the same time, keeping the modern sections fast paced and action packed as Sonic Colors and Sonic Unleashed
Personally I found them to really ruin the pacing of the game as you go from blazing through zones to suddenly engaging in a rather pointless contest
It's a great, fast paced game, with great stages and music, and SO much to do.
From the get-go, Sonic veterans will be blasted with nostalgia when they hear the classic Green Hill zone theme, and tear through it at top speed, just as they did back on the Genesis so long ago
Due to their incredible speed M Sonic's acts are often more exhilarating than C Sonic, the downside to this being they also feel a lot more on-rails and linear despite the equal amount of branching routes due of the numerous choke points and fixed 3D angle camera making it difficult/impossible to backtrack
The super Sonic speed is incredible, and this game provides many fun-filled hours of entertainment
One noticeable exception to this is Chemical Plant which like the original is a mass of ramps and loops but to get him rolling at the correct speed he is sent through a series of boosters
The speed is there (the running itself improved over the originals), the physics are correct and veterans will get a big kick out of playing as the short spikey once again
On to gameplay: The game alternates between Classic Sonic gameplay (reminiscent of the gameplay of such titles as Sonic the Hedgehog and Sonic & Knuckles) and Modern Sonic gameplay (similar to that of Sonic Colors)
The cut scenes looked slightly grainy and not nearly as clear as the gameplay was, but that is only a minor complaint on an overall great package
Overall this is a valiant attempt at re-creating the Classic Sonic gameplay
This game has the excellent 2D gameplay of the classic games, and Sonic the Hedgehog 4, but also the very fun 3D gameplay of Sonic Unleashed (which I actually thought was a great game)

So when I heard about Sega bringing back side-scrolling Sonic along with some classic levels I with very excited.
Sonic has many more classic levels that were left out that could have easily been made as dlc at least

It features modern Sonic levels that play a lot like Sonic Unleased levels, but way better - no realtime events and significantly improved level design
It also features classic side-scrolling Sonic levels, done equally well
Gone are the gimmicks of past games, there are no talking swords, were-hogs, or pointless side characters to play
You ran through levels as fast as you could while avoiding robots and what not
and fluidly-(without the stupid side characters or annoying mini missions)

I will say that I miss the open world style of Sonic Adventure, though I'm guessing Sega abandoned this since players got frustrated trying to figure out where in this gigantic space they were supposed to go next.
For SG C Sonic uses the Havok engine to create a more realistic feeling of momentum and as such the player can no longer build momentum chaining enemy attacks
If there's ever moments I fell to my death or a pressed a button wrong, I never felt it was the games fault, nor did I ever did I feel it was cheap design to hamper the player.
The levels are pretty well put together... there aren't too many of the frustrating pit and enemy placements that you get with a lot of Sonic games... there are plenty of areas to run fast, get rings and have an absolute blast doing so
A new, mysterious enemy is disrupting the balance of time, putting modern and classic Sonic face to face
They must embark on an adventure to defeat their enemies
While using the boost, all enemies in your path will be killed simply by you running into them
3D sections revolve around the boost (built up by collecting rings and performing air tricks similar to Colours), the quick step (a lightning fast side step used to avoid obstacles), and of course the homing attack which can be used in either perspective to lock onto and destroy enemies

The storyline is fairly basic, an unknown force has started tearing through time and has capture modern Sonic's friends, scattering them throughout time and they must be rescued by completing each stage
In this game, the 'classic' Sonic found his universe intermingling with the 'future' Sonic as they encounter mysterious 'time holes' caused by a mysterious force of evil that has the ability to travel between universes
Eggman who aims to utilize this mysterious evil force to establish domination across these universes after all colour is stripped from their respective 'realms' leaving them lifeless 'white spaces'
