Depending on your WiFi router, product set-up can be a pain.
I will return this expensive, disappointing, non connective product ASAP.
I've had any number of wireless speakers and Sonos by far is the superior product
, Sonos tech support is great, Sonos app is by far the worst and made setting up the Play:1 by far the most difficult smart product to set up out of the 30
great product and sound quality - wish I had done more research and known you cant play from internet to Sonos
Works with Alexa Needs a bit more deep bass at higher volumes but sounds very clear.
It's a bit too proprietary a system vs. the rest of the crowd and now that Apple has jumped in the game I think I'll wait and see before investing completely.
The sound through my speakers is amazing, my sub adds to the rest of my speakers so I can dial up the treble a bit to brighten the room
It took a bit of time and technical knowledge to set it up so that we can use our playlists, but we worked it out and it is terrific.gerryq1
Great sound - a bit difficult to get it to pair with my soundbase.
It doens’t support AirPlay and there are no plans to add support for it.
In short, if you’re willing to put in the time regularly to get this system working as it’s supposed to, are okay with very few customization options and don’t need to share the system with anyone else in your household, you may be perfectly happy using Sonos
Sonos may issue a software update that bricks your system (speakers then make nice paperweights).

Although Sonos advertising their product works with Alexsa, Alexsa does not want to work with Sonos as of today December 2017
We really like the Sonos system and the sound is very good but the app isn't very good and the constant updates are annoying.

However, if you don't like constant updates, or if you want a device that you can control without a phone, then this is not for you.
But since it Only works with WiFi and not airplay or Bluetooth you rely on apps not to break on updates (looking at you audible) and sonos not fixing it quickly
I have invested in a LOT into my sonos system and the recent updates and the problems that have come after the updates are unacceptable.
If you can install hard wiring for a home stereo system, then I recommend you do so rather than chooosing Sonos.
So for now I have an expensive speaker system that cuts out during movies and left feeling like the only way to resolve this issue is by hard wiring them which defeats the purpose of this purchase
Complex wiring followed, pointing speakers, pulling hair and then horrible sound.
Great sound that is similar to my classic Bose wired floor speakers
Old classic rock, R&B, Jazz and Gospel, sound as if you were at a live performance
this product is very so proprietary doesn't work with any of your own song you may have on hard drive
It's not too bad, but I specifically put them on OneDrive to be able to play them on any device without having to download them and take up computer hard drive space
It is simple to connect any of my i-devices and play music of them, or I can connect to the hard drive attached to my router and play the music there.
