I am already invested in the Sonos system, so this product is not for everyone and admittedly expensive, but I love it
then I'm sure you'll find some fault with it, I don't know anything about sound quality other than what sounds good and this product sounds good.
I feel a product with the sound stage from the playbase and the sound of the playbar would be well worth the cost
I especially like that Sonos continuously rolls out software updates that only improve the product as time goes on, which is saying something since it already sounds great to begin with
Sure glad i did, you cannot put into words how awesome this product is
I am not an audiophile, and to say that this unit is better than any flat screen tv would be obvious
Everything thrown at it sounds great, as a stand alone unit
It sounds better at low volume, as this unit is trying to reproduce sound with 10 small speakers, and accomplishes it fairly well, so long as you don't turn up the volume
Needed a neighbor friendly single unit system due to downsizing into condo
I would highly recommend this unit to anyone looking for great sound with wireless capabilities.
but I'm going to sell it as I no longer trust the brand or want to deal with their products failing and taking weeks to get help
I really am impressed with the simple, elegant design that almost disappears in my living room, but provides such a powerful sound experience with music or Home Theater
Besides, it is so proportioned, it really just looks like it is some kind of nicely designed TV
Appealing Design+ Packaging convenient to reuse when moving+ Easy to disable/enable physical buttons and
The design is beautiful and blends in nicely with my bedroom
but I'm going to sell it as I no longer trust the brand or want to deal with their products failing and taking weeks to get help
Either way, the clarity from this thing is pretty phenomenal.
In fact, the clarity is outstanding, with movie tests revealing crystal clear nuances which would be lost with anything else (even besting the Bose!).Look, when MY WIFE says she's impressed, that means something, since most of the time she simply tolerates my fascination with technology without comment (even when prompted for an opinion, I get, "Are you happy
I'm going to give this some more time before making final judgements, but my initial impression is less than what I expected.(updated text above on 4-11-2017 for better clarity)Update 4-07-2017:I'm going to continue to update this review as I experience more with this unit
The clarity of sound is very good, especially vocals and dialogue
However, if space and budget is not an issue then go for the surround sound like a 5.1
If your DVD/blue-ray/other players don't support original Dolby Digital then the best you will ever have is stereo going to the playbase, which it then converts to fake surround, which means no true 5.1 experience
So after you get used to what is great surround sound for your movies, then you flip on some music; and, the settings just change over automatically.
The fact that it actually delivers fantastic surround sound that is clear and dynamic makes this an even more satisfying purchase.
Paired up with a set of smaller Sonos speakers for a great surround sound!
