As far as a Blu-ray player, the picture and sound are of great quality and the 3D works with no problem,As far as the region-free feature, I was expecting that it would auto-detect the region and just play the discs.

unfortunately this DVD player was not compatible with my TV but it has all the features I wanted and if I buy a new TV I will definitely buy this.
