The unit would turn on and off and the DVD function worked, but the screen remained blank when attempting to access Wi-Fi.

Also many times after inserting a DVD the screen message says "no disk" and the remote control unit isn't much bigger than a small flip phone with very small buttons to use to work the unit.

I'm soooooo happy - NOT!Prepare for 1) huge delays in navigating through menu screens and through screens within apps like Amazon Video, 2) naming conventions even the most tech savvy consumer won't understand, 3) player's failure numerous times to detect WiFi router that sits on the next shelf above it in the tv stand, 4) player's difficulties connecting to Internet through even with a wired connection
