I'd tested it out and it sounds good cd sounds real good and the radio sounds real good to.my girlfriend likes it a lot it's for her christmas early this year.it's a very good player.everything works good on it.thanks albert.

I agree with others, radio doesn't sound as good as playing CDs, but the strong, rich, clear CD music (more important to me) at 50% volume can be enjoyed in adjoining rooms.

Sony radio, well, it's a bit tinny sounding, so I got the one half the cost (Panasonic RF-2400) which sounds much bolder.

It is especially hard to find good radio CD players and CD alarm clocks in part because phones have taken over this space.
