• Reviews around feature (3.37 of 5)

Sony Dream Machine ICF-CD843V CD Clock Radio with Digital Tuner (Discontinued by Manufacturer)

    • And of course this critical feature is not described in the item description or even on the box (as another reviewer found too)
    • Most features on this clock radio are fair, although I confess I wasn't aware of the lack of battery backup until I read a recent review (LOVELY)
    • One great feature is that changing radio stations works like it does on most car stereos: one button to change the band (FM1, FM2, AM, TV, Weather), then five separate buttons for each station you program within that band.
    • Bad-No 2-5-7 feature
    • Has all the important features, losts of radio presets, wake to CD, radio or alarm, variable nap and snooze times
    • It has alot of great features
    • This clock has some great features such as the TV audio.
    • There is nothing easy about this clock, and the features are lacking.
    • Somewhat deceptive feature being able to set 3 different wake up times.
    • Even the best were lacking very basic features like battery back up for power outages, head phone jack, etc.
    • 10/20/30/40/50/60Unusual Nice FEATURE: dedicated button on front panel - toggles Daylight
    • and I've actually loved that feature
    • A nice feature is that you can program 3 separate alarms and have one or more active at any time
    • This 2 alarm radio doesn't take up much space, has lots of good features and I use them all -- alarms for radio, buzzer, and CD, nap, sleep, TV audio, weather station, etc
    • It has several thoughtful features.
    • The sleep timer is a wonderful feature and he uses it every night!
    • Some nice features like the nap timer, and the ability to wake up to a CD.
    • I like the features and controls on this unit.
    • The Good-Clear sound, well lit display with dimmer & nap feature
    • It's okay looking, easy to use, works well and the very best feature for
    • This clock is pretty expensive, so I was expecting some easy to use features, and at least a weekend alarm.
    • Most features on this clock radio are fair, although I confess I wasn't aware of the lack of battery backup until I read a recent review (LOVELY)
    • There are many good features of this model.
    • I LOVE the Nap button feature - which is why I still have these clock radios.
    • It has many great features that all work well (see manuf
    • This unit also has many other great features.
    • This is enough of a problem that I wouldn't buy this model again, even though it has many good features.
    • I have been late more times than with my last cheap clock, whose snooze feature broke after a couple of years, and which this "Dream Machine" replaced
    • Maybe it'll be in the next itineration of this product (hint...hint)Although this unit is inexpensive, has GREAT sound, is somewhat easy to use, There are certain things you come to expect in a product like this as well as from this company, They've been in the game too long to make the mis-steps like they did with this one
    • Bad R&D from Sony
