This is an incredibly good microphone! :DIt doesn't say it's noise-cancelling, but I found to pick up far less of my room's fan noise than the (granted, probably cheap add-on) noise cancelling microphone that came with my webcam!

I tested this mic with a powered device and it works beautifully, but for all concerned, this is a NON POWERED microphone, and will NOT work with most modern compact video cameras or devices.

I've gone through maybe 3 cheap microphones in a year that were in about this price range and this one has been the best by far

I feel like the microphone is WAY sensitive on the devices I've used it on, and while very clear on my computer with a studio quality sound card, any other device has a lot of distortion on pickup, even with me having glued on "dead catz"

The audio came out insanely good for the price, without having to use one of my friend's very expensive dead cat microphones on a boom

I recommend this microphone most highly.

Building a "dead cat" microphone anti-wind muff for this mic is kind of a 5-minute ordeal, but once it's done, this is easily one of the best mics I've used

I found nothing horrible about this mic in post audio editing, was able to get a good s/n ratio and with slight manipulations to certain frequencies, it sounded just fine to me
