-
It plays talk radio pretty well and has just enough features
-
The audio input would be a nice feature if the speaker didn't sound so bad
-
So this feature alone has me thrilled.
-
This is a good clock radio, Sony name brand with some good features
-
Otherwise, this is a nice compromise between a full-featured high-end iPod-compatible radio and a cheap alarm clock.
-
Sort of defeats the purpose of having a clock in the room in spite of all the neat features of this clock.
-
So the best feature for me is the fact that you can change the blue backlight from bright, to medium, to off by hitting the snooze button.
-
are other great features, but those were my "must haves" when looking for the perfect clock
-
Since the actual setting drifts with time this is a totally meaningless feature because my clock was well over a minute off out of the box and it is only less than three months beyond the manufactured dated
-
Great feature-rich alarm clock
-
This clock has lots of cool features...that are really really hard to use.
-
One of my favorite features is a weekend and weekday alarm setting
-
Another great feature is that it takes a battery so that if the power goes out, the alarm does not fail you
-
This clock radio has too many features that are half-baked, like the "nature" sounds.. the rainstorm sound is cool, but they all sound pretty similar after that, and really the built-in speaker isn't good enough to allow high pitched bird tweeting and ocean sounds to really be all that comfortable to the ear.
-
The double alarm is a nice feature and the preset buttons are great for your favorite channels.
-
the features are fine, but the brightness, even on the low, is really bright.
-
Another nice feature is that you can independently set the volume for alarms A and B.
-
Has a few nice features but speaker is cheap and does not sound good at all and the light as others have commented is a bit bright for sleeping even on dim.
-
I wish this worked because it has a lot of good features
-
The other features are good but Sony missed a few top ones for an alarm clock.
-
For example - the maligned display is 'bright', but for me it has one great feature that no other alarm clock has had - an 'off' position for the brightness.
-
But there are many frustrating features about this clock.
-
This is a nice feature, but I'm not sure how accurate the thermometer is
-
The other features are good but Sony missed a few top ones for an alarm clock.
-
However I do love the features and the large digital numerals.
-
It has as well two additional features which I don't use, but may be important for some people:1
-
I love the sleep timer feature.
-
Thermometer is a cool xtra feature
-
I think the clock has great form and features, but I've found it to be unusable since I have to get out of bed at night and turn on the light in order to find out what time it is.
-
Nice features, but some shortcomings
-
The thermometer is also a nice extra feature.
-
All other features are great, easy to use, and exactly what I was wanting.
-
The double alarm is a nice feature and the preset buttons are great for your favorite channels.
-
But those features are lacking on SONY
-
The time does auto set, and that is a great feature, so bottom line is, as a clock, wonderful, as a radio, not so much!
-
This radio has very nice features.
-
The worst feature is how all of the buttons aren't very well labeled, meaning when I see the time or alarm settings need to be changed, I have to get the friggin manual out and figure out which button does what.
-
Another great feature of this clock is a buzzer that starts off somewhat softly and slowly and gradually gets louder.
-
Great feature-rich alarm clock
-
I would not buy this again; Lots of nice features when they work; keep the directions close by
-
I like the compact size and features, and the radio signal comes in
-
Many features on this including two alarms, dimmer and off setting for the clock readout, automatic time setting, and a set of sounds to go with the am/fm radio that will either put you to sleep or wake you up
-
The features on this clock radio are good, radio reception is fantastic
-
My favorite feature is the automatic time
-
Nice features but the sound quality isn't really very good ,especially in AM.OK for the price.
-
Nice feature weekdays setting
-
That is a great feature and now I will not have my wife yelling at me on Saturday mornings for forgetting to turn the alarm off.
-
It has a lot of useless features, the buttons are in odd locations and set-up is counter-intuitive.
-
Nice feature is the weekday and weekend alarm setups.
-
This is a sweet radio/alarm... love the sound effects and other features!
-
I also enjoy the backlighting feature
-
While it does have a few nice features like dual alarms with weekday/weekend modes and temperature display, the negatives far outweigh any positives
-
The Nature Sounds feature seems a little superfluous but is actually quite pleasant
-
Why would someone bother to give a product so many useful features, but not actually try to use it in the dark to see how it works
-
The features are very good and for a small radio the sound is fine.
-
I also like the feature where an ipod can be plugged into it by way of the headphone connection
-
With all the other great features it's beyond me why they didn't make the brightness display fully dimmable.
-
It had absolutely stellar features otherwise.
-
Ultimately this clock fails at one of the most important features
-
The other nice feature is that there are two alarms settings with one that you can set for weekends only.
-
The features I really like are the backup battery, the Ipod jack, some of the nature sounds, and the automatic daylight savings
-
Lots of good features....except 1
-
so it specifically doesn't ring on weekends and doesn't rely on me to reengage it Sunday evening (heavenly feature)
-
I love that it has 2 alarms (A and B) and you can set them for weekday or weekend using any of the sound options and even pick the volume (levels 1-30) for the alarm level to sound off
