Sony ICF-C707 Clock Radio with AM/FM Dual Alarm and Large Easy to Read Backlit LCD Display

    • I love the dependable (and good) radio tuning, the just-right audible alarm volume (the last alarm I had was ridiculously loud and annoying), and being able to set two alarm times and modes.
    • Very good clock radio
    • I found that the bird sounds were quite pleasant to wake up to, though I still prefer the radio- you can not set the alarm to play from the audio-in jackSo, overall it is a great alarm
    • UPDATE: it's now September 2016 and the radio works as well as it did on the first day I had it.
    • the radio performs well, the sound is good-no problem with the backlight as it turns off if you need it to.all in all - i would say it is well worth the price i paid-the nature
    • I bought two to replace a single Sharper Image clock radio
    • The digital radio has excellent spurious radiation rejection.
    • Other reviewers have commented this is a decent radio
    • In terms of the radio and alarm functions, this is the best clock radio I have ever owned
    • It's a good size with decent radio reception
    • Everything was as advertised, but the one thing I was not happy with was that the volume for the different sounds--Rain, Ocean, etc. did not adjust up as loud as the radio volume.
    • other then that this is a great clock radio
    • So all in all, I like this clock radio and would buy it again
    • The only downside to the radio alarm volume is that I have to turn it down every morning as it will stay loud instead of going back to the lower
    • The biggest positive is the great radio reception, and small size.
    • The one, tiny speaker in this radio has poor radio quality and the alarm doesn't get very loud
    • Unless you need a compact tabletop radio that also happens to display the time, this device is not recommended.
    • If you like to enter your dream world on a sea of sonorous jazz or a cloud of classical, this radio is probably not for you
    • But I am at a loss how one can fault a radio for poor AM reception without hooking up the antenna supplied exactly for that purpose
    • I really like this radio, except it is way too bright
    • Too bad because the radio played well and the device was modernistic and looked good.
    • I would highly recommend this radio.
    • A modern looking clock-radio that is awkward to use as an alarm clock
    • Didn’t have room for antennae which I needed or the radio was very static
    • and I have returned this product back to amazon in favour of an accurate, radio controlled, "automatic time set" clock radio, with better sound, such as a Sangean.
    • More features and sound than one would expect from the compact size of this great clock radio.
    • The pluses is its compact size, two separate alarm buttons, nature sounds, great radio reception,
    • The radio works great and the buttons are easy to find
    • Great small radio, music sound just OK
    • It's nice to have so many options to use for an alarm (buzzer, radio, or one of the 5 nature sounds).
    • The radio is great but set up is difficult
    • The time does auto set, and that is a great feature, so bottom line is, as a clock, wonderful, as a radio, not so much!
    • This is a good clock radio
    • When the alarm/radio station/nature sounds/or your own input that you can plug into it goes off, simply touch the snooze bar and the clock reappears
    • I still get a lot of static but that is probably not the radio's fault.
    • this is a very nice clock radio I like to wake up to the nature sounds in the
    • i am hesitant to even try a more expensive sony clock radio in the future.
    • Excellent radio, great sound, thermometer, dual alarms, nature sounds, aux in, and a great price
    • It's been a solid clock radio.
    • It's a decent clock/radio
    • The radio is great except the light on front is either too bright or to dim to see time at night.
    • Nice basic alarm / clock radio which I got for my mom as a replacement for her old one.
    • This is a nice, compact bedside clock radio
    • Radio clear
    • My fav radio station suddenly chatters with static, or "ghost" sound from another station for no reason, and the only way to get rid of it is to turn the radio off and then back on again
    • This is a good clock radio you can use in a bedroom or kitchen
    • Sony should have stayed with the previous model, ICFC705, which is a great little radio with an antenna incorporated with the power cord.
    • Gets great radio reception inside!
    • This is a very good radio for AM and FM, but the display is too bright for bedside use, the controls are small and difficult, and the nature sounds terrible, due to poor sound quality, short tracks, and birds sounds on the ocean audio.
    • In my opinion Sony can make a larger--better radio with clock
    • I don't really use the radio feature but this clock radio has about the best FM radio I have ever had
    • This little radio is great
    • Great little Clock Radio
    • Lastly the digital radio is really good and pulls in stations with no problem unlike some of the analog clocks we have had in the past.
    • For the money, it is a great little clock radio.
    • Certainly, it can be said that some functional aspects of the unit have been sacrificed for the aesthetics of the unit (i.e. many of the buttons are small, untextured, and roughly the same size), however, I find those complaints to be minor misgivings for an otherwise superbly designed clock radio.
    • Great radio
    • but I have a cheaper radio I use in the bathroom that has a better speaker
    • And the radio is good enough to pick up myfavorite far away stations
    • Not nearly as good as my Sony ICFC414 Clock Radio and a lot more expensive
    • Did not like this clock radio at all
    • Very useless product, terrible radio reception, sound, and I could not read the ugly lcd
    • Would be nice if they would've put a speaker on the other end but the radio sounds clear and pleasant
    • It 's the best clock radio I never have before
    • No joke, for more than a decade I've been on the search for the perfect alarm clock radio
    • Best clock radio I have bought in years
    • Would recommend this radio.
    • Nice Radio
    • The second alarm I set to an annoying radio station that is sure to get me fully awake.
    • Radio works well, alarm is reliable
    • This is a very nice clock radio
    • The radio is small and fits well on my bed stand
    • I like the digital tuner and good radio reception
    • Very nice sounding radio
    • Radio works well
    • Overall, a well-designed alarm clock radio with tinny but clear sound
    • This is a slick little clock radio.
    • This radio is junk
    • The radio is fine but it was for my dad
    • The radio is small/compact but packs a surprisingly good sound
    • This is a good clock radio, Sony name brand with some good features
    • Otherwise, this is a nice compromise between a full-featured high-end iPod-compatible radio and a cheap alarm clock.
    • Well in just at 1 year it quit fist the radio
    • If you are someone who appreciates design and function, you will love this clock radio by Sony
    • Terrible radio and tuning on back.
    • It definitely meets our needs, and we were delighted to discover that the digital radio is excellent
    • clear radio great sound.
    • Great radio with lots of features.
    • It's so good, I'd consider buying one just as a compact desktop radio for the office.
    • The radio works great, it picks up everything that the car does
    • radio seems very cheap, has low quality tinny sound and poor reception
    • This is much better than trying to get reliable radio reception in our area
    • Absolutely love this Clock Radio
    • For me, I like having the good radio reception and sound
    • This radio is an expensive pain.
    • I live in an NYC apartment with so much ambient AM radio interference that I seldom enjoy AM -- up until this Sony ICF-C707
    • Beyond these issues it's a nice bed-sde clock radio.
    • At first I gave this radio a bad
    • This is a sweet radio/alarm... love the sound effects and other features!
    • Radio is useless.
    • Needed a compact simple clock radio with a readable digital clock
    • It seems like after 100 years the industry has forgotten how to design a decent sounding radio
    • I needed a clock radio with good radio reception and digital tuning
    • The radio tuner is more sensitive than any previous home radio I have had (as good as my car radio).
    • FM Stereo CD Clock Radio with Dual Alarm" which has an awesomely loud annoying buzzer and has the advantage of allowing you to wake up to a CD track of your choice, but, has an inferior radio when compared to this model.
    • The FM radio works very well with great reception
    • The FM radio works very well with great reception
    • I love that it has 2 alarms (A and B) and you can set them for weekday or weekend using any of the sound options and even pick the volume (levels 1-30) for the alarm level to sound off
