First off and of most importance, this clock radio has a tinny sound quality (annoying to this audiophile).Then, I found that the black numerals on blue background are not easy to see (in the middle of the night).

Tinny sound but nice and small

Unlike the rich Mega Bass on my old Sony Dream Machine clock, this one has a cheap tinny sound, like the speaker on a low-end mobile phone

The sound on this is positively tinny, and hurts the ears .......not at all likeprevious versions of the Dream Machine
