Sony ICFC-1 Alarm Clock Radio LED Black

    • The ability to dim the display!
    • Small, easy to use, dimming display, no cord radio reception, DST auto adjust
    • Most importantly, the alarm is reliable and the display makes it very clear if the alarm is set
    • Simple to use and you can dim the display so it does not light up the room.
    • Awesome sound, great clear display, and very sleek and pleasurable to look at
    • Easy setup, subpar reception and decent display.
    • Love it - small space, good sound and the front display can be dimmed to three levels
    • It has a nice vibrant display
    • * Display is harder to read being orange and
    • It's compact in size, the display is easy to read from across the room and has three brightness levels (I use the lowest setting which works fine without being too bright), the controls are straightforward, the sound quality is nice & clear, and the tuner doesn't seem to drift.
    • The display is too bright, and there is no adjustment
    • If you have my use case, are an urban dweller who listens only to a nearby(I mean very nearby) station, or just need a basic alarm clock with a nice display then go for it
    • Easy to use, smaller than the old Sony Dream Machine, display looks good, and the lowest level of brightness is dimmer than the old model (that's a good thing)
    • The display is not distracting at night, even for my wife (who likes to sleep in pitch blackness)
    • Works fantastic and has a nice display without being too bright
    • The display is great, easy to read
    • This permits me to easily dim the display before turning the lights out.
    • This one has radio option, the display dims beautifully, and the sound is great even when turned very low.
    • Inconspicuous, neat, display dimmer goes very low so does not light up the room, pleasant display color
    • I was THRILLED with this clock for the following reasons:--> dim orange display dims even further for maximum dimness when I'm trying to sleep, unlike my previous clock, the green display of which was visible from space even on the "dimmest" setting--
    • Looks modern and small, clear front face clock that displays time, sound quality is ok not amazing but not terrible either just decent
    • The amber numbers don't mess with my sleep like the blue-lit displays seemed to.
    • Cannot beat the price and I like being able to dim the display.
    • Pros: the display dims in three steps, easily by tapping the snooze bar.
    • The display is non-intrusive, and the alarm wakes you up gently.
    • The brightness of the display comes with three settings and even on the lowest, the display was still extremely easy to read when waking up
    • Pros: the display dims in three steps, easily by tapping the snooze bar.
    • non-existent!. Good display of time though!
    • I bought this clock to replace one with a super bright display, my only needs for this are an aesthetically pleasing clock with a display that doesn't light up the room.
    • Display is pleasing and can be dimmed
    • The display had gotten so dim that I needed to find a replacement.
    • Large display, easy to read, adjustable brightness.
    • Excellent display, perfect size, and nice use of the power cord as the antenna, but an incredibly obnoxious high-pitched whine (6600 Hz to be exact) emanates from this device (specifically its DC transformer and subsequent capacitors) at all times
    • Clean edges but the display isn't too bright
    • I love the display, easy to read
    • We love it no issues and the orange display is not harsh at night in a dark room.
    • It's a decent modern looking alarm clock with an orange LED display.
    • The display is a good orange, not too bright (though you can adjust level to suit you).
    • I love the display and it is nice and compact
    • The display is not too bright, but is easily readable.
    • The most surprising thing to me though, was just how much nicer the soft amber display is compared to the harsh bright green of my old alarm clock.
    • The digital display is barely readable
    • For me the display is much too bright, even on dimmest setting.
    • Display gets nice and dim
    • Display is soft and very comfortable to read with 3 brightness settings
    • how many features some of them have, but this product meets my basic needs in a stylish little black cube with an adjustable amber color display
    • I love the orange display
    • I wanted an alarm clock that was simple to use but without a bright display
    • You can't brighten the display.
    • It doesn't cast a bright light from the unit like some green displays do.
    • The adjustable display brightness is also a lovely feature, I keep mine at the lowest and I am miraculously not affected by it at night - the pleasant orange glow looks almost like a candle light at night
    • It looks great and the display is easy to read but it just isn't loud enough for me.
    • At night, in the dark, the dials are not in the least visible, the audio quality is poor, the receiver is weak and displays function poorly.
    • Second, the display is very dim even at the highest setting
    • I have had this for two weeks and there is now a missing segment in the LED display.
    • Good backlite display that is easy to read
    • Pros:Big display, fm/speaker, long snooze time, great value for money
    • Except it just broke after two months and is frozen with the time display a showing random assortment of lit up areas
    • Nice radio when there is a power outage time is not displayed but the alrm will still work from buzzer the buzzer is very low and wouldn't wake anyone up
    • Love the look and dimmable display
    • Display is clean and sharp
    • and the display is incredibly bright even on the lowest setting; I had read that in other reviews prior to purchasing, but didn't think it would be that big of a deal.
    • The orange display is easy to read in both dark and bright day light without bothering anyone.
    • Looks really nice with the dead-front display
    • Display and brightness appropriate for keeping it aside bed
    • It has a nice big time display also.
    • The display is fine, and the basic daily use of the clock is also good, but setting it up and making adjustments is confusing.
    • But design is nice, display good to eyes, alarm comes on and it's cheap.
    • Very poor display.
    • Large display-works well.
    • Dimmable display is good, and radio/buzzer volumes are plenty loud
    • Display is clear and not too bright, controls are intuitive (setting the alarm is easy), reception is decent, and the snooze is in the right place.
    • I it worked.
    • If it dies I just hope they're still making this model, because I'll probably want to get another
    • Had this for a couple months, worked fine until the clock started racing forward and backward as if it were possessed
    • Frustrating as you can't reset them
    • I hate getting up and seeing blue/green lights, the orange color is really nice in the dark as well as during the day.
    • You can dim the numbers, the radio comes in as clear as my old radio, I don't accidentally change the time or the alarm setting, and there's a separate "permanently off" switch for the alarm (for weekends) as well as an "off-for-today" button so that I don't have to remember to turn it back on the next day
