The alarm has some nice features - easy to set alarm time, adjustable snooze duration, etc., but it is missing one key feature - a dimmable display
I didn't give it five stars because I haven't used the alarm feature as of
The clock features a large green display that is just right (not too bright but very visible), a good radio with a pretty good speaker, a sleep feature for the radio and customized snooze times (every click = 10min, up to 60min), and many more features
, I could do it in my sleep - it probably doesn't have fancy features like this alarm clock, but what's the use if you have to take out the instructions every time?
The only missing feature that would have been nice would be a dual alarm, though for the price this lack cannot be complained of
RADIO HAS TERRIBLE SOUND TERRIBLE RECEPTION AND IS VERY HARD TO TUNE, ALARM SET UP IS VERY DIFFICULT TO COMPLETE.POSITIVES: DIGITAL TIME DISPLAY IS EXCELLENT
It was so, so easy to set and the reception and sound are both good for a small radio.
It has great reception on the radio to wake me up in the morning.
The radio has very good reception and the sound is amazing for such a small device
It's not fancy, and in fact the radio can be a little hard to tune (no antenna means poor reception as well - if you're out in the country or something I wouldn't count on this thing for music)
The quality of the radio was good enough because only use the radio to wake me up
The sound quality is good for a little radio, and it is so easy to see the time at
Not only is the sound quality very good, but it performs well as an alarm.
The sound quality of the radio is as good as any you'll find.
Poor sound quality, but the worst offense is that this clock radio emits a clearly audible hum that comes through the speaker as long as the unit is plugged in.
The front face is clean and spiffy looking, the shape elegant but simple -- it fit the décor of the crappy motel off the interstate you stopped at, desperate with exhaustion, as well as it did the five-star room you treated yourself to for a weekend getaway
the DST light won`t stay on" (written in December), "No way to change from FM to AM" (switch right on the side), "runs 17 min fast since I`ve owned
Very confusing as to how to set everything on this clock from the clock itself to the alarm.
Not too bright where its annoying (I like the room dark when I'm sleeping).
Everything worked as it should, although some of the FM stations with weaker signals don't come as clean and strong as I'd like
love the battery back up, this clock is very user friendly and the radio stations come in a lot better!
When i received the product the internal battery for auto time was dead.
but the battery that was installed in it just went dead.
We love the battery back-up so when electric goes out the time comes back on to the exact time and the alarm has stayed in place, what a blessing not resetting these clocks.
I figured out how to set the time, and the battery is still going strong almost 3 years later.
Replaced an old Sony, doesn't take up too much room, not too bright, radio has decent sound, easy to operate.
It's not a device so bright it will disturb you in a dark room
Not too bright where its annoying (I like the room dark when I'm sleeping).
So with some agitation I went back to my old red and black display on bright and it still looked not too bright and the bed sheet was no longer visible; the whole room looked dark
The only problem is that the display is noticeably too bright in a dark room.
On the other hand if the goal is to get you out of bed, that horrible screeching noise when off-station certainly gets me out of bed fast
The antenna is quirky: the radio must be oriented properly in order to prevent noise -- typically a hiss -- from distorting the audio, and walking around in the room can cause the hiss to rise and fall.
I miss the possibility of presetting radio stations, and make the light of the hour less brighter, it also does a buzz noise a bit annoying during night
All buttons make a really loud plastic click noise that is very annoying
It makes a humming noise at certain time even though the alarm and radio are on the off mode.
When the alarm is enabled the unit emits an electronic buzzing sound every 1-10 minutes, loud enough to keep me from falling asleep
This could be nice if you don't like to be blasted out of bed by a sudden loud buzz
I miss the possibility of presetting radio stations, and make the light of the hour less brighter, it also does a buzz noise a bit annoying during night
