    • Radio fine but must position it carefully to get clear reception
    • Reception is excellent for pulling stations and the sound quality is what one might expect from a small, inexpensive clock radio, i.e., the sound is adequate for waking one from a sound sleep
    • FM reception is tricky, and if your geographic location is better than mine, you might not have trouble with the hiss.
    • However the reception is excellent, even without an external antenna
    • Except for some goofy behavior with the time setting whenever you unplug it, this clock is easy to use and has a nice alarm (not too brash) and radio that gets good reception.

    • The radio is another issue, static on all stations, cannot get clear reception of any station.
    • The FM antenna is built into the AC power cord and you are supposed to extend the cord fully to improve reception; the AM antenna is built into the unit and you are supposed to just turn the unit until you get good reception (kind of defeats the purpose of having a clock if you have to turn it away from you)
