The problem I had was they just would not get a good fit in my ears no matter how hard I tried.
These are perfect fit for smaller ears, have superb sound quality and they stay put...and are adjustable for comfort (only bought another pair because my previous pair had an unfortunate encounter with one of my cats who loves to nibble on soft cords) - highly recommend!

I do not believe this was a genuine pair of SONY earbuds

They stay in my small ears fairly well, with the rubber grips going over my ears.
I have previously had two pairs of the Phillips ear hooks which worked well, but the price increased substantially so I decided to look for a replacement that was closer to the original price I had paid for the Phillips a couple of years ago
