However, if you want something that is going to sound as good as the original CD, and still allow you to put 2 or 3 hours of music on inexpensive re-recordable discs, MiniDisc is the way to go.

You cannot get any better sound resolution than this; any decent DVD player has an optical out; decent CD players too.

You know I originally bought the Sharp Minidisc Player with the voquette package.

Minidisks don't scratch, and they have the versatility of tapes with a much improved sound quality

Not only does this machine have such a very good sound quality and good design, I also love the fact that it's very portable and is light enough to carry around anywhere

I've been messing with cd burners for years to make my own compilations, and i have to say that buying the Sony MZ-R70 was the best audio buy i ever made.

Not only does this machine have such a very good sound quality and good design, I also love the fact that it's very portable and is light enough to carry around anywhere

The system works instantly and I would urge folks to buy the model with the USB interface if MP3 downloads are an issue.

The Mini-Disc was a great system that never really caught on

It combines the best features of a cassette tape and a compact disc
