Sony Noise Cancelling Headphones WH1000XM2: Over Ear Wireless Bluetooth Headphones with Microphone - Hi Res Audio and Active Sound Cancellation - Foldable On Ear Headphones with Travel Case - Black

    • Aside from the headband cracking issue (that I have yet to experience), the Sony's look and feel very professional and sleek
    • The headband cracking issue hasn't been something I have experienced so far
    • I have yet to experience the cracking issue but did get the 4 year protection plan just in case
    • Its a shame about the headband cracking issue has not been fully fixed from the previous model.
    • I really want to give these 4 - 5 stars because the sound quality and battery life are great but when a previous model is notorious for cracking, and you see in the comments that Sony supposedly addressed the cracking issue so you buy a pair and they crack (image attached), it's difficult to justify.

    • The bluetooth is almost useless... it skips every 3 or 4 seconds, which is exceedingly annoying, and the sound quality isn't as good as when you connect a cable even when it isn't skipping.
    • Small gripes like long term comfort-ability, they lack as long I am concerned since I have large ears which stick
    • The noise reduction with Sony was nearly as good as with using hearing protection ear plugs
    • In future generations, I would obviously like to see even better audio quality and noise canceling (as hard as that may be) as well as an environment where it feels like my ears aren't being dipped in molten lava after just an hour or two (exaggeration, but they do get really hot for real)
    • Hopefully that get worked out but for the most part does not bother me as I have a different wireless headset for my
    • (it's predecessor) headbands used to crack a
    • AMAZING!!I first bought the Bose QC 35II but returned them because I felt they lacked in technology as far as convenience and sound
    • for reference, I've had some etymotic er4s (passive, in-ear noise cancellation), bose quiet comfort 20, and i compared for some time in the Bose store my current sony wh1000xm3 with the bose quiet comfort 25 and bose quiet comfort 35 i and ii.
