The remote works well, and that's all you really need from a remote.
The remote works wonderful the only issue is a design issue by the sony company which is that the remote is way to sensitive it turns the system on if you even breathe on the thing but the seller was very fast johnny on the spot with getting the device to my residence.
This remote works well for most of the Blu Ray functions.
I would never want to use it as another game controller, but as a remote for the PS3 for the movies that we watch its works great
I will have to rethink my allegence, not sure if another new product {wireless headphones} I just received is working correctly either again disappointing.
This remote complements the ps3 as a blu-ray player very well
It is a nice remote for possibly the best Blu-Ray player available.
And, yes, that "stop" button doesn't work the same as on my DVR but let's face it the U.S. doesn't require compatibility compliance as some other countries do so we just have to bite the bullet
And who doesn't, it is the best blu-ray player on the market.
PS3.Hands down if you own a PS3 (the most affordable Blu-ray player at the moment
The sixaxis controller does everything that you want to do with blu ray / dvd playback but its not convenient at all

Converted my PS3 into the cheapest blue-ray player on the market

The Bad: pretty much the only game in town unless you decide to use the game controller, which is very annoying.
The PS3 is by far the most advanced and feature-rich game system on the market today, shrinking the X-box 360 and leaving it in its
PS3 system comes with a Game remote controller that can very well be used to play DVD/BD/Games and the Sony X-BAR menu

Why is this stupid system asking me how much fun this game is?
I replaced my DVD player with the PlayStation 3 but my wife would have trouble controlling DVDs with the PS3 game controller so I got this remote
So this remote control was much cheaper than buying a replacement six axis controller and actually makes navigation much simpler
It is an extra remote control, but definitely handy to have around.
This control solves that problem like a charm; also consider it is a Bluetooth remote so it can be used without even pointing to your PS3 or with thing on the way
This remote control is very useful, since I have it, it is much more easy and comfortable to use than the joystick control to watch blu-ray and dvd
The PS button worked the same as on the controller as an on/off button
However, other than those two design flaws, it's a good product
It has all of the normal buttons (Play, Stop, Pause, Scan, Skip Scene, Slow Step, etc.) as well as the normal Playstation buttons (X, Circle, Square, Triangle, L1, R1, Playstation Button, etc.)
Two design flaws render this otherwise fine remote too frustrating to use for controlling Blu-ray (and DVD
and IR adapter-Not only for Bluray movies and DVDs, but also for music and videos on the hard drive as well as for surfing the
There are two features that this remote lacks, one is useless and one is important
The lack of backlit buttons might be a problem for some, but I find that I can't easily read backlit remotes anyway, and that lighting sure does eat batteries!Prior to my
The lack of a glow-in-the-dark feature might annoy some people

It has a number pad, but unfortunately it doesn't work like a phone when it comes to entering text.

I'm sure many people find it useful for checking out their pictures or using it as a remote for the music player.
People have complained that there's no power button, and that you have to use the PS button to turn the system off.
Well people, the same happens with your IR remote if you sit on it
To people complaining about the Stop button "ruining their evening", what a bunch of whine-bags
It also gives people like my technology-challenged mother the ability to use my Playstation 3 as a DVD and Blu-ray player, whereas with the Dualshock controller she was lost
It maps ALL the six-axis buttons and performs everything a six-axis would do, except for the joystick features of R3 and L3 (but you do have the push-down or 'click' abilities for them).= 2 AA battery powered (still with the original Sony batteries after 4 months of use)= Includes additional buttons that the movie-only users would expect on a remote such as: + a number pad + eject + red, green, blue, yellow buttons + play, stop, pause + slow(step)
I like using the slow step buttons to catch something in movies I never found before
It has all of the normal buttons (Play, Stop, Pause, Scan, Skip Scene, Slow Step, etc.) as well as the normal Playstation buttons (X, Circle, Square, Triangle, L1, R1, Playstation Button, etc.)
