Great sound quality, great features, great noise cancellation
I purchased these to use on a plane as a compact alternative to over-ear noise cancelling headphones, as well as to listen to music too.
Overall, this is a great set of Bluetooth headset with great sound quality, Active Noise Cancellation that really works, and the flexibility to connect to a wired source when needed
Noise cancellation is surprisingly effective, but care has to be taken to ensure that the eartips are sealed well in the ears, otherwise external noise will enter and the noise cancellation can seem ineffective
The variable noise cancellation works extremely well, if not quite perfectly
so I avoid headphones where the bass has been given too much boost
The bass is strong, but somewhat muddy.
good sound quality*Good bass reproduction--far better than any ear buds I've owned previously*Good battery life at about 20 hours*Nice on-board controls (once you've memorized their locations)*Sufficient
(Airport boarding calls, walking on a busy city street looking out for traffic, etc).-The app allows you to customize the EQ and allows you to dial up or dial down the bass as preferred.-The neckband is a bit snug for me, but I've got a 20" neck (tree trunk), so all neckbands are going to be snug on me, but it blends away after a few minutes.
There is ample bass, not overpowering, and balanced mids and highs
Next, the earbuds, though secure in my ear canal when I push them in, quickly work their way out, especially when I am on the move, such as mowing the yard
Sony didn't skimp on anything, these are the most practical headphones I've had that I can remember and the best way I can sum them
I purchased these to use on a plane as a compact alternative to over-ear noise cancelling headphones, as well as to listen to music too.
They always work their way loose, especially if I am sweating, and sweating is what often happens when I am wearing headphones

Studio3 Wireless - Great noise isolation, on-ear over-the-head design, battery life is pretty good, corded backup when bluetooth isn't available (airplane, etc).
No need to lug around a bulky set of over the ear headphones and its accompanying EVA case.+Battery life is good and rated at 10 hours of use even with noise cancellation features on
Good sound quality, good noise cancelling, good battery life
but as is they're not quite as good as BoseQC25BLUETOOTH performance is excellent and battery life is good for my use pattern.
Good sound quality, good noise cancelling, good battery life
I returned the first ones I got, I just couldn't believe that Sony would make a product that didn't perform as expected, or have such poor quality control
The intuitive shape/design of the earbud places it in an ideal position that doesn’t move around and provides optimal sound control by creating a seal that doesn’t allow much noise to bleed in.
You can set up Adaptive Sound Control, which adjusts the ANC to different modes, depending on what you are doing
Battery life is a little short compared to full sized cans but it works well, decent sound and good controls.
The neck piece has adjustment buttons to allow phone-free control over power, volume, playback, and noise canceling
Why am I going to fork out $300 plus for an obsolete product
Instead, Sony focused on making a nice product and they really succeeded there.
The product is amazing, the only downside is the EarPods in which it could be designed to hold better inside the ear
I didn’t receive this product as those Vine free product, I bought this with my own
Funny thing is I opted for this brand/model because the similar product by Bose has a bad reputation since their first version had a firmware bug... that made NC useless, if I remember correctly.
When off reverberates in one ear and music is distorted
I review a lot of headphones, which is great, because I love music and use a lot of headphones
The music sounds amazing in these headphones, it does help block out some background noise, and they are lightweight and don't feel tight on my neck
Unable to use application when connect through wire.- Voice detection might not hear the voice that loud enough.- Cannot use while chargingOverall it is extreme great headphone as the cons don't really bother me much, mostly using bluetooth with full noise cancelling for best music experience.
By being real bad for calls turns these headphones in expensive ANC music listening headphones, if that is the case, I rather keep my bose qc20 and my voyager legend headset and deal with two devices for two different situations.
Listening to more vocal-heavy selections such as the Moana soundtrack you'll notice background flourishes and nuances that you've never picked up on, the vocals are pretty incredible and you might as well be sitting in the recording studio with them, Aesop Rock's "the Impossible Kid" sounds full and punchy, you'll truly appreciate the volume of sound and technicality of Coheed and Cambria's "Good
At low volume, the sound becomes very distorted and washed out.
Not good for talking on the phone, sound keeps going in and out.
The sound on the 50 pair was comparable, but not as good
In fact, I prefer the sound of the WI-1000X to the pricier over-ear Sony WH-1000XM2 headphones, which I also own
I don't know why a manufacturer producing both MP3 Player and cellphone could miss multi-pairing feature, and I'm looking forward to a firmware update
Great sound quality, great features, great noise cancellation
The noise canceling feature works very well for these type of in your ears products
Others have already written about the incredible noise cancelling feature - so great
This latter feature works quite well in shifting the perception of where the sound is coming from, but as a practical matter it seems somewhat gimmicky
So I set out to find the best sounding Bluetooth headset I could find
The earphones also support corded headphone jack (cable is included and plugs into the USB port of the earphones), which I thought was a nice bonus feature over the Bose for devices that don't support bluetooth.
This earbud is even not as good as other bluetooth earbuds
This is a very well made, nice looking, good sounding Bluetooth headset, and for the price you pay, it should be
So basically these (the most expensive bluetooth earbuds on the market) are bad for water/rain/sweat, have average battery life despite using neck band
I like the physical product, hate the software, and I think the only comparable product on the market is the one from Bose QC30.
quality).The bad:Bad software
The noise-cancelling is almost as effective as in the Bose 35's I normally use, and the downloadable app (for iOS) adds additional functionality like directionality and accommodating incoming speech
Negative:1.mediocre wearing 2.doesn’t support Bluetooth LADC(iOS) (sigh) 3.Price,10% discount could be more competitive.
I purchased these to use on a plane as a compact alternative to over-ear noise cancelling headphones, as well as to listen to music too.
But these Sony headphones are perfect in that regard, no issues
With the addition of LDAC to Android 8, all I needed to find was the right Sony headphones
I've been using these Sony was very impressed with the apparent quality of these headphones as soon as I took them out of the box
I honestly had assumed that I already reviewed these Sony Premium Noise Cancelling Wireless earbuds because I loved them so much when I first received them and I tend to review the items I love faster than those I don't.
The Bose feel like a pair of good quality headphones, the Sony feel like audiophile grade headphones

I love the Ambient Sound feature, and this was one factor that influenced my decision to purchase these over the Bose offering, or the Shure SE215 (which portend to offer top-shelf noise isolation)
The WH-1000XM2 provides better noise isolation of course, given that they are over-the-ear closed headphones

They do an excellent job of cancelling ambient noise, come with comfortable earbuds, and charge with a standard micro-USB cord.
Upon pairing, you can actually hear the ANC kick in and block out ambient noise even before any input from the phone

These types of devices are best when canceling out steady, ambient background noise and thus work great when used in planes, trains, cars or even indoor settings with noisy overhead fans and what not

These ear buds block all background noise and make the world disappear

These headphones have such good sound quality and are so good at eliminating any background noise
In a noisy environment its very difficult for the other party to hear anything
It works quite well in very noisy environments (such as the subway). These headphones also have an app that allows refinements to noise cancelling and adjustments to the directionality of the sound
However, I tried to make calls with it in the same harsh environment, but to my dismay, I had to shout for the other party to hear my voice
While they aren't my choice for use during physical activity, they are perfect for my frequently noisy work environment, at home when my spouse is watching television, in bed while he's sleeping and for situations where ambient noise levels are disruptive.
The noise cancelling effort at least not less than QC30, but in silent night environment, you can hear the ground noise annoying for sleep, same problem for QC30 and other in-ear NC headphones because their drivers are far more closer to ear than over-ear NCs
They still earned 4 starts because of the overall superb sound quality (even if I had a hard time getting the buds to stay in right), the regular noise cancelling and the ambient sound noise cancelling both worked very well
Had a hard time keeping the Sony buds in my ears and they are not as comfortable.
Negative:1.mediocre wearing 2.doesn’t support Bluetooth LADC(iOS) (sigh) 3.Price,10% discount could be more competitive.
Second, I have a hard time talking with two earbuds in my ears, such as when one might use these headphones for wireless calling
I don't use that because it makes a noise every time it
The Sony Premium Noise Cancelling Wireless Stereo Headset has automatic noise cancelling and Noise Cancelling Optimizer
My primary use for these Sony Premium Noise Cancelling Wireless headphones (WI-1000X) is for skype conference calls in my office
I honestly had assumed that I already reviewed these Sony Premium Noise Cancelling Wireless earbuds because I loved them so much when I first received them and I tend to review the items I love faster than those I don't.
