Outside in the sun, with sunglasses, you will not quickly see the time, and you certainly won't be reading mail and such unless you like looking really dumb (but phones are not much better either).

I have a Samsung Fascinate android phone which I was able to pair with this Sony Smartwatch.

If you go ahead and order then you will find yourself messing with it the first week you have it, but eventually it will become a burden to your rist and you will go back to using your smart phone.

Its very premature and is only fun for a short period of time.. seing as most actions cannot be completed on the watch iteself.. it reverts you to use your phone .. defeats the purpose in most cases

Honestly, I am used to charging my devices on a nightly basis so slapping this phone on a charger at bedtime would be fine, if it allowed me more functionality.

The only thing that works on it is the device finder and it crashed my phone repeatedly.

My phone is a rooted HTC Inspire 4G that has been running the same stable ROM for about 8 months with generally no Bluetooth issues, so I'm blaming the watch for the Bluetooth connection drops.
