Sony SRS-XB21 Portable Wireless Bluetooth Speaker, Blue (SRSXB21/Ll)

    • Sony have simply exceeded my expectations with this Bluetooth speaker
    • I love the sound my Sony SRS-
    • Sony severely missed the mark on this one which makes me sad, because I really wanted to like this speaker.
    • Sony definitely has a winner with this one.
    • It is a well built sturdy Sony product however and that's why I gave it three stars
    • Sony usually has a thumping base booster that is fun some of the time, but after a while I prefer a more flat response
    • Sorry, Sony
    • I got to thinking, in order to be fair and give Sony the benefit of the doubt, I had failed to consider in my first test run and review, that the short battery life might have been the victim of running the "light show" on the speaker, the whole time that it was playing loud music
    • I’m not really sure what made Sony throw in all these different gimmicks, but they would have to be for a small curated audience I would think
    • Oh, the free downloadable Sony Music Center app is less than stellar, but really isn't required to get the most from the SRS-XB21For the money, this is a great sounding, long-lasting Bluetooth speaker
    • This is a pretty nice feature, with one big exception - you need to have all of the same, or similar, portable Sony speakers
    • The device is solid - like usual from Sony - waterproof and attractive
    • Well this Sony sounds great
    • The speaker is loud, and maybe the Bose sounds better (sound link, sound revolve, etc, but they dont't sound as loud as the Sony, in my opinion I wanted to buy the best speaker there was an jbl that cost 450$ but it was to big, Sony is the best portable speaker period I checked all speakers in the store
    • But then again, HomePod is not as versatile as this Sony.
    • This is our second Sony portable wireless bluetooth speaker
    • Sony also reduced the number of controls on the top of the device, which is okay, since you are able to access all of the options via the Sony Music app
    • Sony doesn't disappoint with this small portable Bluetooth speaker
    • * I don't intend to run this under a faucet/hose, as shown in the marketing photos, but I trust this thing is waterproofVERDICTDespite having a higher price tag than similar units, the Sony SRS-XB21 is a worthy purchase and will greatly improve your listening experience
    • Other enhance sound features in other products usually "color" the sound to the point of making it noticeable, but not this Sony
    • the sound was coming from the compact SONY-XB31.
    • Sony has a great reputation for producing high-quality audio products.
    • The only other experience I've had with Sony wireless speakers is with the Sony XB40 Portable Wireless Speaker with Bluetooth and Speaker Lights, Black, and that was very positive
    • Apple products don't support this, however, so you can only take advantage of this if you have a Sony Xperia smartphone or Sony Walkman that supports high-res audio
    • Sorry Sony.
    • It simply sounds great! The Sony app that works with this "Music Center" is nice, but a little cumbersome in ways (being able to turn the speaker off remotely is good, but getting there is cumbersome)
    • I would rather that Sony improve the sound than have the lightshow and the tappy bumpy thing
    • the sound was coming from the compact SONY-XB21.
    • doesn't really run for 24 hours when on standard and volume is beyond 50%.love the lights, fun to use at homeit's a sony
    • The ability to connect multiple speakers -- what Sony calls a "party chain" -- sounds cool, but realistically, how many times are you at a party where 3-4 people have the same speaker charged up and ready to go
    • (Sony XB10 Portable Wireless Speaker with Bluetooth, Black) speakers and assumed these would be like those but bigger and better
    • Sony calls this Wireless Party Chain and I haven't tested the feature as I only have one compatible Sony speaker but this is definitely a cool
    • The XB21 I reviewed was silver in color, which gives it a classic Sony look
    • For controlling the sound, Sony recommends downloading their Music Center app, but it is really not necessary to do so unless you want to create a network of speakers (see the Party Chain paragraph below)
    • Do yourself a big favor and cop this, and be prepared for the most delicious eargasms Sony has ever produced
    • If you’re not wanting to pay this much, there are a lot of other Sony options available at lower prices
    • quicklyHere’s what matters most, and why we love the Sony.
    • The color changing LED’s are really fun and give a cool ambiance to any party scene.
