First and foremost, the sound: Not bad but not great either
Quick summary when compared to Bose QC35: better sound with music, noise cancellation is far worse than Bose
Headphones had great sound, noise cancelling was not very good
These headphones are specifically for Bass lovers, I love the sound on these, great noise cancellation, great sound overall, Sony has always been detailed about their headphones, a bit
The sound is a bit unclear, but it sounds very good nonetheless.
There is a nice feature where if you have noise cancellation activated, you can instantly reduce the playback volume and let ambient sound through by putting your palm over the right side.
These headphones have a nice feature that allows you to hear your surroundings by simply holding your hand over the right ear cup
It's the perfect headphones for me, has the perfect amount of bass, great noise cancelation, great battery life, love the ambient sound and the NFC connecting feature
Other brands with cheaper headphones and good features have better warranty than this, if you want to buy something with built quality I suggest you look for another brand that has better warranty policy and responsibility with the user
This has got to be the most useless feature I've ever seen
The sound control on the headphones is a little hard to use sometimes but over all good headphones, long battery life
Noise cancelling is excellent, and battery life is as well
It's the perfect headphones for me, has the perfect amount of bass, great noise cancelation, great battery life, love the ambient sound and the NFC connecting feature
The sound quality, noise cancellation, battery life and comfort are great
Awesome headphones , had one those metal Italian design headphones, Bluetooth never worked and battery life was terrible, these are great and some noise canceling to them
The earcups are not breathable so your ears get sweaty after 30 minutes
I do like that if I put my hand over the right ear cup, the headphones turn the volume down and turn off noise cancelling, so that I can hear someone talk to me
An awesome feature is the "quick attention mode" you just place your hand over the right ear cup to turn the volume down and deactivate noise canceling which is great if you need to talk to someone while listing to your media
The one star deduction is for shaky touch volume control on the right ear cup and not the best noise cancelation
I've found that long term digital noise cancelling starts to hurt my ears and potentially damage
The sound control on the headphones is a little hard to use sometimes but over all good headphones, long battery life
For the price, this gives you want you want: comfort, great intuitive noise cancelling, and easy controls.

Love the touch controls on the side of the headphones, but I often touch them
This would have been a dealbreaker for me if I didn't love the touchpad controls so much (so very very much), and if I hadn't gotten a screaming good deal on these for Prime day
are true these are amazing build and very comfortable to wear, ear pads dont get hot , very spacious earcups indeed and these are not audiophile headphones so u wont get sound quality as good as
Sound and noise cancelling is great for the value ( not as good as my XM4
I’m comparing to my BOSE noise-canceling headphones, and although the BOSE are twice the price (on sale) , it would be worth your while to simply step up and go with a better N/C type (BOSE or other) if you really want a quality set.
Also, a nice hard shell case would’ve been nice over the drawstring pouch, but those are definitely minor complaints in what otherwise is a great pair of wireless headphones.
The design is simple, plastic seems very durable, soft leather like details around ears and on the top of headband could get damaged quite easily so I would recommend using a protective case
I do wish Sony could have splurged just a bit for a hard case.
The headphones ship with a great carrying case, a USB-C fast charging cable, an audio cable for wired connection and instructions/paperwork
Though Sony's petty sabotage of the 900s with a junky case and Ye Olde Plugge of Charging is kind of sad, especially at close to $175, these still provide about 75% of the MX1000 pizzazz for 67% of the price, and so can be recommended
Sound and noise cancelling is great for the value ( not as good as my XM4
I didn’t go for the five stars because depending on the settings it sometimes sounds a bit flat but nothing too bad, just not 5 star worthy
I sure would, I really enjoy using them and for the price its a no brainer, 5 stars buy them unless you need the very best noise cancellation than get the Sony WH1000XM3 those I hear are the

Sadly, these headphones lose one star for the app not saving settings, and for the bit of bass distortion on the extra bass
I think it is merely a matter of being a bit too tight around my head, rather than a problem with cushion softness.
Volume control is a bit difficult to use the to the touch control
I wasted a bit of money on it, which was spent as a present for myself as I self-sequestered at home.
The NC works, but it does not work consistently, sometimes I turn my head a bit, and NC works, then works poorly
Touch controls work better - my edition of the MX1000s were a bit erratic in volume control recognition and would sometimes pause when volume change was swiped or vice versa
