The sound is far better than the sound bar I was using for my old TV
We were also worried that with this TV there would be even more to add to the Giant Remote Pile that we've been building up over the years, but because the sound on this TV is so good and the Android TV is great we were able to eliminate our sound systems and the Apple TV, so now we're down to just the Sony TV, the TiVo box, and a remote for each
The sound is extraordinary
The sound on this TV is like a symphony compared to what we have been using- the TV sound is crisp, has a WIDE range of tones, and the dialog is completely audible without having to raise the volume of the TV to the highest levels and lower the volume when music/commercials start
While buying a TV involves a serious analysis of the video aspects, the sound is important
Streaming content over FireTV looks great as well.
While there isn’t really that much 4K content available to me (my 4K mostly comes via Amazon Prime), when I do watch something in 4K, it is a step above any other in-home viewing experience I have

Also, there is just the slightest tilt upwards due to the easel-stand, and if you watch television from the floor (like a lot of children do) you might notice the tiny shift in upward angle
It's kind of like finding out your favorite band has a bunch of albums you never knew about, or your favorite book series has ten extra books you never read, or your favorite TV shows has a bunch of extra episodes... as someone who appreciates movies and television, I just feel like I have something new that makes me *really* excited about it
This television is very tech-savvy with cutting edge technology - to quote

It's kind of weirdly fascinating - the most mundane things in the most mundane shows (like House Hunters on HGTV) are suddenly beautiful and awe-inspiring

Thankfully, the OLED display is also incredibly bright but when watching content with a lot of dark scenes you'll notice some glare unless you can get your ambient lighting down to zero
Absolutely gorgeous display and incredibly built

Thanks to this tv’s many functions that manage object colors and resolution, the colors, contrast and sharpness are constantly optimized to always provide a picture that is near-real (with no tuning adjustments required from me!)
To obtain the great picture with deep rich colors I had to do some adjusting to the default TV settings.
Picture looks great, clear, and colors are perfect.
It's sharp, precise and the colors are amazing
Out of the box the colors were too bright with greens and reds standing out way too much.
No 3D is the only thing this Sony OLED lacks, and I hope tv manufacturers bring back 3D in the future
SONY MAKES THE BEST
Deciding to move to this Sony A9F Master Series
We upgraded to this Sony Master Series 55” 4K HDR TV from a 2009 42” 1080p Plasma HDTV two weeks ago and the change in our home theater viewing experience can best be described as dramatic
Easy Sony will give you a better picture all the way through while having just a tad bit of unnoticed latency
