I love this little Bluetooth soundbot, It was a little difficult to get it to work
love this soundBot, it has a good sound and a good bass.
While the Soundbot may feel cheaper, it seems to actually be padded to it can take these falls much easier which would explain why the old and my new one has yet to break.
My son bought me the soundbot speaker I love it in the shower as well as in the pool.
I sent an email to SoundBot noting the issue and asking if they could help me pair the speakers with iPod Nanos.

but I can barely ever get the Bluetooth to connect and when it does it is not very loud, the suction cup refuses to stick to anything, and the charge does not last very long so the music playing becomes static-y and unbearable
The suction cup works well and it hasn't fallen or slipped yet
Also the suction cup works quite well on flat smooth surfaces.
It's also not loud at all, nor does the suction cup stick well to much
I tried other surfaces as well and seems the suction cup is greatly flawed.

and I was looking for that long lost proprietary cable for my old waterproof bluetooth speaker

There is this clicking noise coming from it and none of the buttons will work, I tried charging it and that made a red light come on but the clicking noise continued

I'm sure that strange rubbery smell will go away after awhile.
When it arrived it did have this weird smell and I had some trouble trying to figure out how to charge it but other than that it's great
My one gripe is that it has a horrible smell, but after being put in the shower it seems to have gone away.
