I just wish it was a stronger bass

The speaker is great indoors more than outdoors, and while decent for most music the bass has limits

so you dont really see it and distracting when im out back watching the stars and enjoying some classical music or soft jazz, the bass is much better than the jbl flip, i put one against the other and they are almost identical in sound an volume with the exception of the bass response being more rounded and fuller sounding with this

Strong mids, good highs, average bass

It does have remarkable bass response and clear highs for such a tiny speaker, but the overall sound is very 'squished'

For many songs I actually prefer the Flare to my Amazon Echo, which I think pushes the bass too much and muddies some of the mids and highs

I think a dynamic bass boost could fix this problem

Great range and bass

There is just not enough bass for me

You get a lightweight speaker, but the bass isn’t great and the highs are tinny and the sound is more or less a jumbled mess

The Bass-Boost button DOES make a difference in the bass put out by this thing, and the bass is pretty impressive for a speaker this size

If you are listening to it by yourself, you can position it near a corner or a wall to make it sound louder and to enhance the bass, especially if it's on a wooden cabinet

At 100% volume, there is almost no distortion out of this speaker (even when it's managing multiple components of a track simultaneously...bass, acoustics, and vocals) - at 90% there's no distortion
