Portable Bluetooth Speaker, Soundcore Flare Wireless Speaker by Anker, Waterproof Party Speaker with 360° Sound, Enhanced Bass & Ambient LED Light, IP67 Dustproof & Waterproof and 12-hour Battery Life

    • I have the UE Boom 2 to compare to and the Soundcore Flare can definitely hold it's ground to a speaker that's twice the price.
    • So if you're a party-goer who wants to have more durability and cool lighting effects (and stereo pairing with another Soundcore Flare) this speaker is for you
    • (Here: https://www.amazon.com/Anker-Soundcore-Portable-Bluetooth-Playtime/dp/B016XTADG2)I decided to try the Soundcore Flare instead
    • if you've ever owned an Anker product, this won't surprise you - build quality and user experience are both exceptional - bluetooth connected to my pixel 2 as soon as I turned it on, and has ever since (no issues); the fabric is the same quality you'd find on any of the other popular speakers right now (amazon's or google's); the light on the base is cool without being tacky (I was a little worried about this), and it can be turned off if you like - primary color settings are: oranges/yellows (chill), greens/blues (spring), and mixed (party) - using the soundcore flare app allows you to sync the light to the music (which is pretty cool - more on the app later)
    • The sound is pretty good out of this Soundcore Flare for music but it's also pretty flat frequency wise
    • I've used several portable bluetooth speakers over the years and this Soundcore Flare blows them all away
    • I wish the app would let you turn on the Soundcore Flare similar to the UE Boom app, but maybe that can be added later
    • When you have 2 Soundcore Flare connected as a stereo speaker, it is the beast
    • After reading these positive reviews I expected the Soundcore Flare to sound significantly better than the original Soundcore
    • Soundcore Flare is competitively priced and 2 would cost less than 1 JBL Pulse3, of course this would not be an apple to apple comparison as Flare+ would be more close to Pulse3
    • You can control the base's light from the app (which I found myself more amused by than I thought I would be); You can pair an additional Soundcore Flare (which I didn't have to do, but trust Anker to make as easy as everything else they do); you can adjust the volume; and you can use their wave equalizer to turn the Bass-Up feature on or off, and select different listening settings (Default, Voice, Flat, and Chill)
    • This new Soundcore Flare is more quality, elegance and top notch sound
    • I picked up the Soundcore Flare during Prime Day at the lowest price I've seen this speaker
    • I was amazed at the qualty of sound from my Soundcore Flare
    • You can update the speaker's firmware; pair with a second Soundcore Flare and assign left/right channels to get true stereo; control lighting color schemes, brightness and movement patterns; choose from 4 different pre-determined Equalizer schemes; and turn the Bass Boost on or off
    • The Soundcore Flare is nicely built and quite easy to set up.
    • I’ve had the Soundcore Flare for a couple days and have to say I am impressed by the sound quality
    • I tried using the cord in other devices and it seems to work with them, not just with this SOUNDCORE FLARE speaker.
    • Pulse3 had the flashy LED lights and B&O, though small, had great sound output
