I thought I would like it, but the vent clip doesnt stay if your phone is too heavy (iPhone X) also the magnets in the mount effect the navigation and the compass internal parts of your smart phone.

Strong Magnet and Secure Vent Mount Clip

There's aren't too many good choices out there for vent clip style mounts and though it lasted a while, I probably would not purchase this Spigen product again.

Not strong enough to stay in the vent clips when removing the phone.

Unfortunately, the vent clips just don't work well enough with my car's vents to keep the mount from disengaging when I grab my phone, leaving me to have to reorient the mount quite often.

At times the vent mount clips get loose so slowly and gently screw them back in.

BUT the part that clips on the vents is not long enough to hold the vents in the back which does not support the mount and makes the vent drop all the way down.

I made the mistake of buying one of those clip car mounts which I do not recommend

I'm not a fan of vent clips.

More problematic is the plastic clips for the vent all came of making it unable to be mounted anymore.

Just need to check occasionally to make sure the vent clip is pushed all the way into the vent.

The clip keep falling off the car vents

I ended up removing the vent clip from the back and using heavy duty 3M double sided tape to mount the base directly to my dash

It was an effective product for a little while but the clip to hold onto the vent eventually became too loose to hold onto vent and the entire set up would fall out at poor times.

I also tried the famous Pro Clip

The clips are sturdy, however, I have had a few instances where I was carelessly removing my phone and have pulled off the mount - easily fixed however

The magnetic holds strong and the clip that goes in the vent is very sturdy in reliable

I knocked off a star because the magnet is so strong that I need to remove it with 2 hands every time, else I rip off the clip from the car vent itself.another complaint i have is that the magnetic plate renders my wireless charger useless.
