great mount, but magnets are a stronger than the vent grips.

In summary, a really nice mount with a small tradeoff due to the plate that goes inside.

All a/c vents are different, so you might have to fiddle around a little to find the right location on the vent that provides a solid mount.

After I put something in the vent to prevent it closing I had a stable mount and an open vent.

But if I wanted a vent mount, I would use with the QS11.

This is a good, strong mount, and with your appropriate Spigen case with the case mount space, it will work very well.

Vent-mounts just don't seem to do the job.

Mount is adjustable to keep at any angel but it is heavy so of your vents move easily like mine it flops around a little.

Even though I push it in as far as possible, the mount always ends up pointing downwards or even falling off

This mount wont support the weight of my Galaxy S7.

I have had similar mobile mounts that clip into the AC grills this one falls off frequently but the magnets are very stong and the size allows you flexibility in placing your phone and rotating it as you wish.

Overall I'm satisfied with this product, but I need to decide if I want wireless charging in my office or a really convenient car mount.

Well after 11 months of this being an issue on and off, i finally did something about it and used a stretchy hair tie to secure the mount in the vent and it seems to work perfectly

BUT the part that clips on the vents is not long enough to hold the vents in the back which does not support the mount and makes the vent drop all the way down.

Double sided tape helped secure the magnetic base (sans vent connector) to the adjustable ram mount arm

It was the vent phone mount and it was too heavy that is damaged the vents on my car.

Great design, poor durability... this jointed mount offers maximum flexibility compared to other vent mounts, but after 6 months it broke when attempting to pull phone off

Any vent mount will limit your ability to control the vents... so this is really a concept issue, not with this product specifically.

In the quest for the perfect car mount, I've tried a handful of them over the course of several years

The only issue I ran into in my car ('97 Volvo 850), is that the vertical adjustment of the vents are very loose so when you put any phone on the mount, the vent is pulled downward until the disc portion of the vent mount comes in contact with the surface below the vent

Spigen should either redesign the articulation joint to be lower profile, or add a more textured surface to the inside of the vent mount's "fingers" so they grip onto the vent slats better.

The power of the magnet is very strong, however the mount that goes into the vent on my 2010 Infiniti G37 wasn't too sturdy.
