They make securing your phone a breeze

For years I struggled to get a good phone holder and none of the products I bought met my need for compactness, aesthetics & ease of use

and it can cause my phone to become a little warm, with the car mount over the vent it allows to blow cool air on the phone to keep from getting to warm

I tried both of the mounts in every vent - none of them hold the phone for more than perhaps 10-15 minutes, then the phone drops to the floor and rattles around the passenger compartment

The magnets stick to your case, and have a sticker cover to protect your phone from getting any damage

I never lose my phone in the car

The only flaw that I found is, (since it sticks on your vent) if you have the heater you could overheat your phone

NO.... the magnet does not harm the phone.

Once I knocked my phone off the holder though when trying to activate Siri, which requires a solid push on the phone.

Not to mention overheat/freeze the phone..

My only gripe is the long term use of the AC/Heater temperature damaging the phone.

You can use this with wireless charging compatible phones (the internal magnet will stick it to these) but I don't recommend that, because the attracting is weaker and the phone will likely fall at some point from the vibrations while driving

I put the metal plate inside my Spigen Tough Armor case (between the hard plastic and soft rubbery material so it is not directly against my phone - didn't want that to damage phone as my LG G6 has beautiful rear glass)

I think this is great but the part that connects to the vent is too small so if ur vent design is concave then ur phone wont fit properly, and also the magnet breaks off the back price i had to use crazy glue to fix it

In my pursuit of a solid, unobstrusive hands-free phone solution for my truck, I purchased a few styles - some that suction to the windshield, some that plug into the cigarette lighter, some that actually screw to the dashboard

i shook the phone about rigorously and had a very difficult time separating it from the metal plate without rolling the case off of the magnet.+ the metal plate fit in my fairly thin phone case (Spigen Extreme Protection Tough Armor Case) easily without adding bulk

You do need to make sure that you place your phone correctly on the magnet or it will fall when you go over a bump

It is easy to install, the strong magnet holds the phone in place very well, it won't come off by itself
