    Spigen Tough Armor Galaxy S8 Plus Case with Reinforced Kickstand and Heavy Duty Protection and Air Cushion Technology for Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus (2017) - Gunmetal

    • The hard plastic shell is the culprit
    • The the Otter Box case itself, without being snapped into the hard shell, is very very similar to this Spigen thing, but with a thin hard plastic inner shell, under the silicon rubber, which solidly supports the phone.
    • Sturdy, plastic feels very strong, overall very pleased with this case!
    • Overall, better than a lame, plastic clear one to show off the color of my phone and much better than some "fun" teal case I got before that lacked protection

    • Also, the case can protect the phone if it's dropped flat on its face because the top and bottom edges stick out slightly, but still reveal the side edges so that you can swipe the screen edges when you need to and the plastic makes it much easier to grip than just holding the phone by itself
