The lower frequency production is actually very good; full sounding, but since it's a smaller driver, you don't have to worry about boomy or loose sounding bass

They can get loud and had decent bass.

Highs are nice, mids are good and they produce some pretty good bass also

They did not sound bad but could not produce good bass and produce the highs they do when connected to an amp.

Great bass for the buck.
